The South reached 74,000 VND/kg

Pig prices today, February 19, 2025, recorded a sharp increase in provinces and cities in the three regions. In which, the South set a new peak of 74,000 VND/kg.

Northern region

The price of live pigs today (February 19, 2025) in the Northern region has turned to increase again in the two provinces of Hung Yen and Hai Duong, both increasing by 1,000 VND/kg to reach 72,000 VND/kg.

Currently, the price of live pigs in this area fluctuates between 70,000 - 71,000 VND/kg. Of which, Yen Bai, Lao Cai, Nam Dinh and Ninh Binh are the localities with the lowest price of live pigs in the region at 70,000 VND/kg.

Central Highlands region

Similarly, the price of live pigs today (February 19, 2025) in the Central Highlands region recorded an increase again in Thanh Hoa and Lam Dong, both increasing by VND 1,000/kg and Dak Lak and Ninh Thuan, both increasing by VND 2,000/kg.

Currently, the price of live pigs in this area fluctuates between 69,000 - 73,000 VND/kg. With the price increase this morning, Lam Dong is the locality with the highest price in the region at 73,000 VND/kg. On the contrary, Quang Tri, Quang Nam, Khanh Hoa, Binh Dinh sell the lowest price of live pigs in the region at 69,000 VND/kg.

Southern region

Along with the above two regions, the price of live pigs in the Southern region today (February 19, 2025) continued to maintain an upward trend in localities such as Dong Nai, Ho Chi Minh City, An Giang, Vinh Long, Kien Giang and Ben Tre and increased from 1,000 to 2,000 VND/kg.

Currently, the price of live pigs in this area is still fluctuating between 70,000 - 74,000 VND/kg. Of which, Dong Nai and Ben Tre set the highest price in the country at 74,000 VND/kg. Many localities such as Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Can Tho, Ca Mau, Binh Duong, Tay Ninh, Soc Trang have the highest price in the country at 73,000 VND/kg. Meanwhile, the provinces in the region fluctuate commonly between 70,000 - 72,000 VND/kg.

In general, the price of live pigs today (February 19, 2025) witnessed an increase again in all three regions nationwide. Currently, the price of live pigs is being traded in the range of 69,000 - 74,000 VND/kg. In particular, some southern provinces set the highest price in the country at 74,000 VND/kg.
