The Fatherland Front builds great national unity

Mr. Trieu Phuc Chi's family, a poor household in Cao Bien hamlet, Phu Thuong commune (Vo Nhai), received support to remove temporary and dilapidated houses.

Vo Nhai is a highland locality with a large proportion of ethnic minorities (over 72%) and 3 religions. Closely following the area, the Fatherland Front cadres at all levels in the district have proactively met to promptly propagate, explain, mobilize and reflect to the Party Committee and authorities to pay attention to resolving legitimate and legal opinions and aspirations.

Over the past 5 years, the Fatherland Front at all levels in the district has coordinated to organize over 1,700 propaganda sessions, with over 111,000 participants. Thanks to good propaganda and mobilization work, the Fatherland Front at all levels in the district has coordinated with other sectors to fight and eliminate the illegal organization Duong Van Minh in the area; the activities of some heretical and strange religions have also been promptly detected and solutions have been found to prevent them. Thereby, contributing to stabilizing people's thoughts and maintaining political security and social order and safety in the locality.

Not only in Vo Nhai, in other localities in the province, the Fatherland Front always plays a core role in building and consolidating the great national unity bloc. At the same time, it is a bridge between the people of all walks of life and the Party and the State. In recent times, the Fatherland Front at all levels has widely deployed many campaigns and patriotic emulation movements, becoming a driving force for people of all walks of life to accompany local authorities to successfully implement socio-economic development goals.

Through patriotic emulation movements and campaigns such as: "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas", "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods", etc., the Fatherland Front at all levels has aroused the sense of responsibility, patriotism, and attachment of the people to their localities and homeland. Many inter-village roads, cultural houses, clean water projects, etc. have been completed thanks to the joint efforts of the people.

Many models of people's self-management in residential areas on environmental protection, traffic safety, crime prevention, and social evils have been effective, typically the models: "Security cameras", "Roads to light up the countryside", "New rural 3-clean house", "Religious community and residents participate in environmental protection, responding to climate change"...

In addition, the Fatherland Front at all levels also propagated and mobilized people to contribute many resources, donate land, labor, and assets on land to build roads, cultural houses, public works to build new rural areas, and implement key projects and works in the province.

Officials of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee surveyed the implementation model of the Campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas" in Phu Luong district.

Every time Tet comes, or during difficult epidemic days, the spirit of "helping each other" is strongly promoted through the "For the Poor" Fund and social security programs launched by the Provincial Fatherland Front. Thousands of gifts and hundreds of solidarity houses have been given to families in difficult circumstances - not only material support, but also sharing and spiritual support, helping them to be more steadfast in life.

“I never thought that one day my dilapidated house would be renovated to look so nice. I am grateful to the Party, the government, my neighbors and the Fatherland Front for not abandoning my family in the most difficult time.” - Mr. Trieu Phuc Chi , a poor household in Cao Bien hamlet, Phu Thuong commune (Vo Nhai), shared.

In 2024, the whole province mobilized and raised over 59.3 billion VND from the "For the Poor" Fund and over 48.8 billion VND for social security. From the "For the Poor" Fund, social security programs and the Fatherland Front of districts and cities supported the construction and repair of 416 houses for poor and near-poor households with an amount of over 16 billion VND; supported capital for production, civil works, helped with medical examination and treatment, supported poor students in difficult circumstances; visited and gave gifts to poor households on holidays and Tet...

In particular, to help poor households settle down in solid houses, from 2024 to now, the Fatherland Front at all levels has focused on mobilizing people to join hands in implementing the program of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses. As of the end of March, the whole province had supported the construction and repair of 1,379/1,498 qualified houses, reaching 92%. Localities in the province are focusing resources to complete the remaining 119 houses before April 30, 2025. These telling numbers are clear evidence of the effectiveness of the Front's mobilization work and, above all, the whole society's meaningful cooperation.

It can be seen that the great solidarity bloc is not something lofty, but is present in every meeting of the people, every smile shared, every hand holding each other to overcome difficulties. And the Fatherland Front, as the common home of the people, is still nurturing that great solidarity bloc every day, so that Thai Nguyen can firmly step on the path of development, prosperity and humanity.
