Organizing the Fourth Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day

"Reading books - enriching knowledge, nurturing aspirations, promoting innovation and creativity" is one of the messages of the 4th Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day in 2025.

The 4th Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day in 2025 carries the message "Reading culture - Connecting the community", "Entering the era of national growth with books", "Reading books - enriching knowledge, nurturing aspirations, promoting innovation and creativity".

Activities of the 4th Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day 2025 are organized nationwide with activities such as introducing books, telling stories and following books, drawing pictures according to books, arranging books artistically, exchanging and discussing books and reading culture, honoring authors, librarians, preserving, collecting, promoting books, publishing, distributing units, signing books, donating, supporting and giving books, exchanging old books for new books, organizing reading promotion activities, instructing methods and skills of reading, developing skills of searching, exploiting and using information.

Also within the framework of Book Day, the Organizing Committee arranges seminars, discussions, knowledge exchange and reading trends, sharing information on how to use technology and new electronic reading platforms to encourage reading such as digital reading trends, audio books, interactive books and new technologies such as artificial intelligence and virtual reality... Organize online reading clubs, create online reading groups to discuss works through online platforms such as Zoom, Skype, Google Meet

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism hopes that the maintenance of the Fourth Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day will continue to contribute to the implementation of the Party and State's guidelines and policies on developing a reading culture; implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress on building and promoting cultural values ​​and the strength of the Vietnamese people; affirming the position, role and importance of books in improving knowledge, skills, developing thinking, educating and training human personality.

At the same time, encourage and develop the reading movement, create a favorable reading environment, build reading habits in families, schools, agencies, organizations and communities; discover and honor organizations and individuals who have contributed to the development of books and reading culture in the community, contributing to building the system of cultural values ​​and standards of Vietnamese people.
