Promoting the precious tradition of solidarity, during the 93 years (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2023) of its establishment and development, the Vietnam Fatherland Front has gathered the strength of all classes of people to fight for independence and build the Fatherland. The Fatherland Front of Ha Tinh province through the periods has also made worthy contributions to the revolutionary cause of the nation, the cause of building and developing the province.
The Communist Party of Vietnam was officially established on February 3, 1930, marking a brilliant milestone in the development of the nation's history. The founding conference in Hong Kong (China) chaired by Nguyen Ai Quoc approved the Party's Brief Platform, Brief Strategy, Brief Program and Brief Statute.

These documents outlined the fundamental issues of the Vietnamese revolutionary line, including the requirement to gather forces and build a great national unity bloc. That was an important basis for our Party to later establish a front - a form of gathering the strength of great national unity.
To meet the requirements and tasks of each historical period, the Vietnam Fatherland Front has gone through many different forms and names such as: Anti-Imperialist Alliance (November 1930 - March 1935), Anti-Imperialist Alliance (March 1935 - October 1936), Indochinese Anti-Imperialist People's United Front (October 1936 - March 1938), Indochinese Democratic Front (March 1938 - November 1940), Anti-Imperialist National United Front (November 1940 - May 1941), Viet Minh Front (May 1941 - March 1951), Lien Viet Front (March 1951 - 1955), Vietnam Fatherland Front (September 1955 to present).

The Vietnam Fatherland Front has always met the requirements of each historical period, becoming one of the decisive factors for the victory of the Vietnamese revolution; a symbol of the tradition of solidarity, national pride and self-respect; and the unshakable wisdom and strength of generations of patriotic Vietnamese people.
Inheriting that glorious tradition, the Fatherland Front of Ha Tinh province through the periods has promoted its role in mobilizing, gathering, and uniting people of all walks of life, mobilizing total strength to make worthy contributions to the revolutionary cause of the nation and the cause of building and developing the province.
Through two great wars of national defense, with its position and prestige, the Fatherland Front of Ha Tinh province has propagated and mobilized people to contribute human and material resources to the frontline, contributing with the army and people of the whole country to make glorious victories, protecting the sacred sovereignty of the Fatherland.

Continuing to promote its role and inherit tradition, in peacetime, the Fatherland Front of Ha Tinh province has always accompanied the political system and the people to make new achievements in building and developing the province.
In the first 3 years of implementing the Resolution of the 19th Provincial Party Congress, term 2020-2025, more than 60 community cultural houses combined with storm and flood shelters, 114 "Intellectual House" models were built and put into operation in residential communities; more than 5,000 solid houses for the poor were built.
Under the active and effective mobilization of the Fatherland Front at all levels, people of all walks of life have donated thousands of square meters of land, contributed hundreds of billions of VND along with facilities, working days... to respond to the movement "The whole country joins hands to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas".

With the joint efforts of the Party Committee, the government and all classes of people, up to now, the whole province has achieved 2/10 criteria of a new rural province; 8/13 districts, cities and towns have met the standards/completed the task of building new rural areas; 179/181 communes have met the new rural standards, 58 communes have met the advanced new rural standards, 12 communes have met the model new rural standards... The appearance of the homeland is increasingly changing, the material and spiritual life of the people has been improved.
Responding to the movement "The whole country joins hands for the poor, leaving no one behind", in 2023, the "For the Poor" Fund at all levels mobilized more than 44 billion VND and social security sources mobilized more than 44 billion VND. From this fund, it supported the construction and repair of 306 new houses; supported production development for nearly 600 households; gave gifts, provided emergency support, medical examination and treatment, and scholarships to thousands of people...

In addition, implementing the policy of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Relief Mobilization Committee has issued a decision to allocate nearly 53 billion VND to support the construction of 757 houses for poor households in areas frequently affected by natural disasters. The Provincial Fatherland Front Committee has also actively coordinated and advised localities and units to implement the project of building 1,000 houses for the poor from the support call of the Ministry of Public Security...
The Fatherland Front at all levels has also promoted its role of social supervision and criticism by contributing opinions to the policies of the Party, the State, and localities, and draft laws directly related to the people. Thereby, it has demonstrated more clearly the role of political alliance, gradually affirming its central position and the bridge between the political system and the people.
PetroVietnam Gas Corporation (Vietnam Oil and Gas Group) coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thach Ha district to hand over gratitude houses to 50 poor, near-poor and disadvantaged households in the area.
In recognition of its great contributions to the cause of national construction and defense, consolidating and promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc, the Provincial Fatherland Front has been awarded many noble prizes by the Party and State: First, Second and Third Class Labor Medals; Second and Third Class Independence Medals...
In any period, the provincial Fatherland Front has always promoted the role of solidarity, gathering, and mobilizing people of all walks of life to implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws; and to participate in building a clean and strong Party and government. Together with the efforts of the entire political system, the provincial Fatherland Front has made worthy contributions to the achievements of building and developing the province today.
