Bustling traditional boat racing festival and ao dai performance "Duyen dang Huong Tra" "Tam Ky"

This year's tournament attracted 9 male racing boats from Tam Ky, Nui Thanh, Duy Xuyen and Hoi An. Of which, 6 racing boats from Tam Ky are Tam Thang, Tam Thanh, An Phu, Hoa Huong, Tam Phu, Tan Thanh and 3 guests are Tam Tien (Nui Thanh district), Nam Phuoc (Duy Xuyen district), Cam Thanh (Hoi An) competing in the 3km peace tournament and the 7.5km traditional tournament.

The boat racing tournament is an opportunity for athletes to practice their bodies, exchange and learn from each other, and promote the development of mass sports in the whole province. At the same time, it preserves and promotes the movement of practicing and competing in a sport that is a traditional element of the people in the river region.

Boat racing is always a festival that attracts a large number of spectators to watch and cheer. This year's tournament has become a water sports festival for people in Tam Ky and neighboring localities.

After fierce and dramatic races in the main tournament, the Hoa Huong racing boat won the championship cup; the Tam Tien boat came in second; and the Cam Thanh boat ranked third.

Previously in the peace tournament, Cam Thanh racing boat came in first; second place was Tam Tien boat and third place was Tan Thanh boat.

Also this morning, April 12, there was a "Duyen Dang Huong Tra" ao dai performance and a family ao dai uniform contest.
