On the afternoon of December 11, at the year-end meeting of 2024, the 18th term Ha Tinh Provincial People's Council, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee Pham Thi Thu Ha reported on the results of implementing the tasks of supervision and government building in 2024.
According to Ms. Pham Thi Thu Ha, in the task of participating in Party building and government building, the Fatherland Front at all levels in Ha Tinh has chaired consultations with socio-political organizations to carry out 258 monitoring missions.
The content of supervision focuses on the selection of key tasks of the province and is especially directly related to the legitimate rights and interests of union members, association members and people of all walks of life.
The Vice Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee of Ha Tinh province also said that the Fatherland Front at all levels in this locality has coordinated to organize social criticism of 242 documents and contributed comments on 123 documents.
Ms. Pham Thi Thu Ha said that through the implementation of grasping the people's situation and supervising the collection of voters' opinions on the Project on rearranging administrative units at district and commune levels for the period 2023 - 2025, voters and people hope that all levels and sectors will soon have a plan to arrange and assign a team of qualified and virtuous cadres, close to the people, with the capacity and responsibility to undertake the work of leading and managing large-scale administrative units.
Timely pay attention and have "strong enough" policies on streamlining cadres, civil servants and public employees within the scope of impact and influence when implementing administrative unit arrangement; have specific plans and roadmaps in managing and using facilities to avoid waste.
Regarding the Movement "All people unite to build a cultural life" in the province, at times and in some places it is not regular, not extensive, not uniform; the self-awareness, proactiveness, and self-management role in managing and using cultural and sports institutions of some residential communities are not high at times. The work of inspection, examination, and evaluation of movement activities and the system of cultural and sports institutions every year is not regular, in-depth, and is mainly integrated.
“Voters and people recommend that the Provincial People's Committee needs to have solutions to handle the shortcomings in implementing Decree No. 86/ND-CP dated December 7, 2023 of the Government and Decision No. 19/QD-UBND dated August 30, 2024 of the Provincial People's Committee on evaluating and reviewing cultural titles at the grassroots level. Assigning the Front Working Committee and the cadres' union to evaluate cultural families for villages and residential groups is not realistic and difficult to organize. Some criteria are not suitable such as "Each couple has 2 children", according to which families with only 1 child will not be qualified", Ms. Pham Thi Thu Ha emphasized.
In addition, Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ha Tinh province Pham Thi Thu Ha shared that voters and people agree with the new policy of the Central Government in rearranging the organization of the political system in the direction of streamlining, compactness, strength, efficiency, effectiveness and efficiency.
"I propose that the Provincial People's Council and relevant agencies soon have outstanding projects and policies to streamline the organizational apparatus in conjunction with restructuring the staff to meet the quality and capacity, equal to the tasks, reasonable staffing and standardization of titles," said Ms. Pham Thi Thu Ha.
From the beginning of 2024 to now, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations at all levels, and member organizations in Ha Tinh province have called for support to renovate and repair 539 houses, worth 25,221 billion VND, and supported 1,311 poverty reduction models with more than 6 billion VND for poor, near-poor and disadvantaged households; coordinated to call for and receive to support the northern provinces damaged by storm No. 3 with more than 53 billion VND.
