On the evening of October 31, many people went to entertainment venues in Hanoi such as Hang Ma and Ta Hien streets to enjoy the atmosphere of a special holiday taking place at night - the Halloween festival.
Many young people were there very early, preparing horror costumes and ghostly makeup to have fun and "scare" passersby.
According to Dan Tri reporter, at around 8pm, a large number of people and tourists flocked to Hang Ma street to have fun, causing the whole street to be packed with people and vehicles, causing local congestion.
Many young people dressed up as characters from horror movies, painted their faces, wore "devil" costumes and masks to the streets to interact and take photos with tourists on Hang Ma Street.
Dang Hoang Anh (left), traveled more than 20km from Hung Yen to Hang Ma street in a costume that made many people "panic" when they approached.
“Inspired by the character Axe Man in my favorite game, I decided to make this costume to join the Halloween atmosphere this year,” Hoang Anh shared.
Children are also dressed up by their parents, wearing masks as movie characters, especially Harry Potter, to participate in the festival.
The bright, Halloween-themed space makes Hang Ma Street always an attractive place for people to come and have fun and take photos.
“The atmosphere on Hang Ma Street this year is more crowded and bustling than previous years. I also quickly chose a mask to enjoy this atmosphere,” Ms. Thanh Hang (standing in the middle) shared while walking with some foreign friends.
The street attracts many locals and foreign tourists to come and have fun.
“Tonight is great, the atmosphere here is very happy and vibrant. The decorations are extremely splendid, the Vietnamese people are also very friendly”, Mr. Emanuer (left, Russian tourist) shared.
The later it gets at night, the more people flock to Hang Ma Street and neighboring streets.
With a large number of visitors, mainly foreigners, Ta Hien Street (Hoan Kiem District) is also extremely bustling.
