(BGDT) - The Department of Cultivation and Plant Protection (Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Bac Giang province) said that Luc Ngan district was granted 9 additional codes for lychee growing areas exported to the Australian market and 1 code for lychee growing area exported to the Japanese market.
Specifically, the codes for lychee growing areas exported to Australia include: 1 code for Tan Moc Agricultural Products Consumption Service Cooperative, in Tan Dong village, Tan Moc commune, with an area of 20.5 hectares and 18 participating households; 2 codes for the lychee production group in Trai Thap village, Tan Lap commune with a total area of 31.8 hectares and 31 participating households; 6 codes for the lychee production group in Cau Meo, Nam Dien, Canh, Ben Huyen villages (Nam Duong commune), with a total area of 83.7 hectares and 195 participating households.

For 1 code for growing lychee for export to Japan granted to Cuong Thinh Agricultural Service Cooperative in Ho village, Kien Lao commune, the area is 15.5 hectares with 19 participating households.
Thus, up to now, Luc Ngan district has been granted a total of 98 lychee growing area codes for export to markets such as China, the United States, Australia, the EU, Japan, and Thailand.
