Supply increased, VN-Index increased slightly

Market liquidity decreased compared to the previous session, with the total trading volume of the three exchanges reaching over 1,099.79 million shares, equivalent to a total trading value of over VND26,711.76 billion. Cash flow is still mainly focused on stocks in the banking, securities and real estate groups.

Foreign investors reduced net selling on all 3 exchanges, down to just over 199.86 billion VND, focusing on codes MWG (86 billion VND), VND (70 billion VND), VHM (57 billion VND)...

In the opposite direction, the stocks with the most net purchases include FPT (100 billion VND), HSG (64 billion VND), HPG (47 billion VND), NKG (44 billion VND), POW (38 billion VND)...

On the HoSE floor, the matched order value this session also decreased significantly compared to the previous session, reaching more than VND 20,167.43 billion.

In today's session, large-cap stocks fluctuated within a narrow range; in which POW and SAB increased by more than 2%, while TCB, BVH, VNM, BID, STB, VIC, GAS, FPT, GVR, HPG increased by more than 1%. In the opposite direction, VRE, MWG, SHB, VPB, BCM, ACB decreased by no more than 0.8%.

Codes that contributed positively to the VN-Index increasing by more than 4.38 points included: FPT, VCB, SAB, HPG, BID, TCB, POW, CTG, HVN, GAS.

On the contrary, the codes that negatively affected the VN-Index by 1.48 points included: ACB, VPB, BCM, HAG, DGC, MBB, EIB, VRE, KDH SHB.

This session, cash flow still flowed into steel stocks, with large codes increasing strongly such as HSG up 3.58%, NKG up 2.62%, HPG up 1.03%...

Along with that, the group of transportation-warehousing stocks also performed positively, VSC increased by 1.61%, GMD increased by 1.44%, VTP increased by 2.89%, HVN increased by 1.55%...

* The Vietnamese stock market index today had another session of increase, VNXALL-Index closed up 2.25 points (+0.11%), at 2,119.71 points. Liquidity with a trading volume of more than 930.59 million units, equivalent to a trading value of more than VND 24,339.12 billion. In the whole market, there were 192 stocks increasing in price, 87 stocks remaining unchanged and 208 stocks decreasing in price.

* At the Hanoi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index closed at 244.32 points, down 0.40 points (-0.16%). Liquidity reached a total of more than 86.35 million shares transferred, with a corresponding trading value of more than VND1,686.11 billion. In the whole market, 87 stocks increased in price, 56 stocks remained unchanged and 97 stocks decreased in price.

The HNX30 index closed down 0.74 points (-0.14%) at 541.76 points. Trading volume reached over 44.88 million units, equivalent to over VND1,189.68 billion. In the whole market, there were 8 stocks increasing in price, 6 stocks remaining unchanged and 16 stocks decreasing in price.

On the UPCoM market, the UPCoM-Index closed at 97.00 points, up 0.07 points (+0.07%). Market liquidity, total trading volume reached more than 77.60 million shares, corresponding trading value reached more than 1,288.71 billion VND. In the whole market, there were 175 stocks increasing in price, 96 stocks remaining unchanged and 108 stocks decreasing in price.

* At the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange, the VN-Index closed up 3.52 points (+0.28%), to 1,283.52 points. Liquidity reached over 935.84 million units, equivalent to a trading value of VND23,736.94 billion. The entire floor had 202 stocks increasing, 74 stocks remaining unchanged and 224 stocks decreasing.

The VN30 Index increased by 3.21 points (+0.25%) to 1,300.99 points. Liquidity reached more than 273.46 million units, equivalent to a trading value of more than VND8,935.57. The VN30 group of stocks ended the trading day with 16 stocks increasing, 3 stocks remaining unchanged and 11 stocks decreasing.

The 5 stocks with the highest trading volume are HPG (over 39.65 million units), POW (over 35.93 million units), HSG (over 31.58 million units), HAG (over 21.60 million units), STB (over 20.23 million units).

The 5 stocks with the highest price increase are SAV (+6.92%), HVH (+6.89%), BMC (+6.85%), CKG (+6.83%), TMT (+6.81%).

The 5 stocks with the biggest price decrease were HAS (-6.85%), FUCVREIT (-6.55%), SBA (-6.47%), FDC (-6.16%), TNC (-5.78%).
