AFF Cup 2024 match schedule today December 29: Vietnam-Singapore

At 8:00 p.m. today (December 29), the Vietnam National Team will face Singapore in the second leg of the ASEAN Cup 2024 (AFF Cup) semi-finals.

The Vietnam-Singapore match will take place at Viet Tri Stadium (Phu Tho).

Before the reunion, Coach Kim Sang-sik's team has a big advantage after winning 2-0 in the first leg thanks to goals from Nguyen Tien Linh and Nguyen Xuan Son.

At the AFF Cup 2024, the away goals rule will no longer apply, instead the team that scores a higher total number of goals over two matches will win the match.

If the aggregate score is tied, the match will go into extra time, and if necessary a penalty shootout will decide the winner.

Thus, with a gap of 2 goals, the Vietnamese team only needs to draw or lose by the minimum margin to qualify for the final of the AFF Cup 2024.
