From the morning of March 21, the 2025 Vietnamese Bread Festival took place at Le Van Tam Park, District 1, attracting a large number of people and tourists to visit the booths and experience the diversity of Vietnamese cuisine and Vietnamese bread.
Present at the bread festival very early, Mr. Nguyen Giang (from Long An) and his daughter said they "have a connection" with the bread festival.
Mr. Giang said: "I went to Ho Chi Minh City to attend my daughter's graduation ceremony at Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics yesterday. This morning, my daughter and I were wandering around but unexpectedly came across a bread festival. This is the third time I have accidentally encountered a bread "paradise".
While enjoying a banh mi cha (Vietnamese sausage sandwich), Archie (an Australian tourist) said he had been in Vietnam for 10 days and had returned to Ho Chi Minh City for 2 days after a week of sunbathing in Nha Trang. This international tourist and his group of friends walked around Tan Dinh Church, Tan Dinh Market, and halfway there they came across the Vietnam Banh Mi Festival.
"We didn't know there was a Vietnamese Bread Festival today. We passed by the street, saw the hustle and bustle and were curious. Oh, here is bread, the dish the group had heard was number one in Vietnam.
I'm eating banh mi cha, my review is so great. I will come back to this banh mi festival tomorrow," Archie told Tuoi Tre Online.

The 3rd Vietnam Bread Festival attracted a large number of businesses selling bread to participate. Businesses and brands all prepared on a large scale, showing the diversity in flavors and fillings. From cream bread, meat bread, ham bread, salt and pepper bread to stir-fried beef bread... and even side dishes made from seafood.
Also at the festival, for the first time, locals and international visitors witnessed a model of Ben Thanh market "built" with... bread. This is a product "built" from bread bars of Vietnam Wheat Milling Company Limited, attracting visitors to take souvenir photos.
In addition, visitors can also witness the process of making hamburgers, dragon fruit bread, donut bread...
At this bread festival, there are hundreds of types of bread with different brands, with different prices. From 20,000 - 25,000 VND/loaf, visitors can enjoy the famous meat bread of the Bay Ho bread brand, or 65,000 - 70,000 VND for a Huynh Hoa bread loaf... Visitors can also experience "super big" hot bread loaves and receive free pate.

In particular, visitors to the festival can also experience free bread from the stalls, at certain times.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Khanh - President of the Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Association, the organizing unit - said that the organizing committee closely coordinated with the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Food Safety, and provided training on food safety and hygiene compliance, because the sandwich needs to be processed and preserved according to the correct procedures.
"In addition, during the 4 days of the bread festival, the inspection committee continuously monitored and checked the activities at the booths, masks, gloves, aprons...", Ms. Khanh emphasized.

The signature dragon fruit bread is directly prepared by ABC Bakery bakers, for people to see and enjoy.
The rolled bread looks quite similar to Vietnamese bread, but is made from thinly rolled corn flour so it has an eye-catching yellow color.
Ms. Chi (living in District 4) checked in with the mixed-filling sandwich she just bought.
