Thanh Phuoc Communal House was recognized as a provincial historical and cultural relic in 2004. The communal house was built in 1897, is one of the large communal houses compared to other communal houses in Tay Ninh province, the campus is over 3,000 m2 , surrounded by many ancient oil trees, the communal house architecture is in the shape of the letter "tam", the main facade faces west overlooking the Vam Co Dong River.

The temple worships Mr. Dang Van Chau, a military leader of the Nguyen Dynasty - the first person to come and explore this land. In 1862, when the French colonialists forced the Hue court to sign the Nham Tuat peace treaty, ceding 3 provinces of the Southeast to France.

Mr. Chau refused to accept the offer, so he and the insurgents continued to fight against the French. Later, he was captured and murdered by the enemy in Xoai Don. The villagers admired his patriotism and built a communal house on the bank of the Vam Co Dong River, near the place where he sacrificed himself to worship him, now in the inner city area of Go Dau town, Go Dau district. Mr. Chau was appointed by the King as the Thanh Phuoc village's tutelary god.
