Although he only started his TikTok channel around the beginning of 2023, his series of clips quickly became a trend and now has more than 1.4 million followers. Reporter of Cong Thuong Newspaper had an interview with TikTok account owner Le Anh Nuoi to learn about his journey of creating digital content on the TikTok platform.
Le Anh Nuoi's TikTok channel has been "famous" on TikTok recently. Could you tell us where this unique and unmistakable name comes from?
Mr. Le Minh Tuyen : My real name is Le Minh Tuyen (born in 1992), my job is a waiter, cooking in the army. The name Le Anh Nuoi also comes from that and coincides with the name of the song "I Am Le Anh Nuoi" composed by artist Dam Thanh.
I used to cook for the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Guard Command for 10 years. At that time, I tried posting clips about soldiers' meals on TikTok from February 2023. I didn't expect that the first clips posted would get millions of views. People were also extremely interested in soldiers' meals, so I made more clips on this topic.

When my TikTok channel Le Anh Nuoi became more popular than when I was a professional military lieutenant, Joint Stock Company 26 of the Ministry of National Defense - a military economic unit invited me to work. Joint Stock Company 26 specializes in producing military economic products for sale to the public. I myself have the ability to express myself quite fluently and have had a passion for business since I was a child, so I accepted the invitation of Joint Stock Company 26 to work and develop my sales ability.
And since then, I have switched to Livestreaming online sales. The first items I sold were military economic items such as: shoes, raincoats, belts, pith helmets... then I also developed more home-made products. Because from the beginning, people knew Le Anh Nuoi through cooking, so even though I am no longer a cook in the army, I still maintain cooking meals to give value to viewers. They can apply according to the menu I cook every day. At the same time, I will produce food items to sell online on TikTok Shop, such as braised meat with shrimp paste, military rations produced by Joint Stock Company 22 of the Ministry of National Defense - authorized by the Chief for sale and approved by the Ministry of National Defense.
PV: 2023 is a year when Le Anh Nuoi has achieved many successes from making clips and selling products on TikTok Shop. So, looking back at the first LIVE sessions, what advantages and difficulties did you experience? Which LIVE session do you remember the most during that time?
Mr. Le Minh Tuyen : My first livestream started when the channel had more than 400,000 followers. There were many people who wanted to buy military goods, so they were very excited. My first livestream was on August 12, 2023, reaching 100 orders in just a few minutes, everyone supported me a lot. At that time, I just plugged in a phone and stood in the warehouse of Joint Stock Company 26, it was extremely hot, I didn't think about shipping, vouchers. I just needed to have a phone to livestream and then think about it later. It was a great experience, the entrepreneurial spirit was burning. It was so much fun!
Up to now, my Livestream equipment is still very rudimentary, just a phone, displaying products and consulting to introduce to the audience. I livestream very calmly, leisurely, speak very slowly and explain thoroughly and specifically to customers, creating a feeling of closeness and familiarity, not too "industrial". There is also no standard of professional or unprofessional.
In a livestream sales session, the most important thing is to advise your customers about the functions, features, effects, and price of the product. How to make sure that when customers buy and use the product, they are satisfied with it and feel that it is "as advertised". That is the core and important thing. Maybe I am lucky because I have a lot of support from everyone. The products I make myself and sell for a while, customers feel that my products are reputable and of good quality. They look forward to the livestream sessions to buy the products.

There are many difficulties. I started everything from zero. The first things I filmed and recorded were not perfect, no one supported me, I did not understand the platform's policies well so I violated them. Selling military items is also extremely sensitive and very restricted, I cannot run ads, etc.
Recently, the Chief assigned me a LIVE session with a revenue of 1 billion. Many people said that it was content, just to attract views, not the truth. But it was true. Normally, Le Anh Nuoi's LIVE session only got 1,000 or 2,000 views, that day it got 11,800 views, the clip the Chief assigned to post got 10 million views.
PV: Currently, there are many people doing LIVE sessions worth hundreds of billions, but your channel Le Anh Nuoi Livestreamed 1 billion, which you have shown to be successful. What is your opinion on this issue?
Mr. Le Minh Tuyen : Everyone has different limits, I cannot force myself to be like others. Furthermore, their products are more diverse, while mine are very unique. In the near future, I will participate in many activities of TikTok Shop, trying to diversify products to sell to more customers. I want to introduce to customers quality products that have been clearly tested. And I also hope that the audience will love me and support me more.
In fact, behind the success of Affiliate Creators is a lot of effort, seriousness, determination to cultivate and improve every day. I am just an ordinary person like everyone else out there, just a little lucky, known and loved by everyone from the TikTok channel Le Anh Nuoi.
