On the afternoon of April 20, at Chung Jye Shoe Manufacturing Co., Ltd., the Yen Khanh District Labor Federation held the launching ceremony of Workers' Month 2024.
Workers' Month 2024 in Yen Khanh district is implemented with the theme "Worker solidarity - implementing the Resolution". Accordingly, the activities will be focused on: propaganda, encouragement, and motivation to create new motivation and new spirit for union officials, union members, and workers to be highly determined, make great efforts, and act together to bring the resolutions of the Congress of Trade Unions at all levels, the Resolution of the 6th Congress of Yen Khanh District Trade Union, the Resolution of the 16th Congress of Ninh Binh Trade Union and the Resolution of the 13th Congress of Vietnam Trade Union, term 2023 - 2028 into life.
Mobilize resources, seek partners according to the union welfare program to visit and support workers in difficult circumstances, serious illness, work-related accidents; support the construction of "Union Shelter" houses; organize propaganda, cultural and sports activities, honor excellent workers who have contributed to the unit... Thereby discovering and nurturing outstanding union members to introduce to the Party for consideration of admission. At the same time, promote the movement to build a model of "Bright - Green - Clean - Beautiful" agencies and enterprises, ensuring occupational safety and hygiene...
With the goal of "Each grassroots union has a member benefit", Yen Khanh District Labor Federation calls on grassroots unions to organize practical activities during Workers' Month, especially to do better in representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers; promote the attention of Party committees, authorities, political systems, businesses and the whole society in building a modern and strong Vietnamese working class and a strong Vietnamese Trade Union organization. Through the activities of Workers' Month in 2024, it is aimed at arousing the tradition of solidarity, creativity and promoting the pioneering role and sense of responsibility of cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers, union members, and the working class in the district in effectively performing the task of socio-economic development in the locality.
On this occasion, the Yen Khanh District Labor Federation presented money to support the construction of "Union Shelter" houses for 2 workers and 30 gifts from the Provincial Labor Federation to workers in the district with difficult circumstances.
The launching ceremony is the opening event for a series of peak activities to carry out the work of caring for and orienting towards the labor force in the district.
