Over 600 candidates won provincial-level excellent student awards in grade 9

(Baoquangngai.vn) - The provincial-level exam for excellent students in grade 9, school year 2024 - 2025, is organized to select and discover outstanding factors for further training. At the same time, it evaluates the quality of teaching and learning in each school in particular and the quality of education in the province in general.

On the afternoon of March 29, the Department of Education and Training announced the results of the Provincial Excellent Student Selection Exam for Grade 9, school year 2024 - 2025.

This year’s exam attracted the participation of over 1,000 candidates from 13 Departments of Education and Training of districts, towns and cities. Candidates competed in 9 subjects, including: Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Literature, History, Geography, English and Information Technology.

As a result, 608 PhDs won prizes, including 24 First prizes, 122 Second prizes, 207 Third prizes and 255 Encouragement prizes.

Units with a high number of prize-winning students include: Quang Ngai City Department of Education and Training with 167 prize-winning students out of a total of 225 contestants; Mo Duc District Department of Education and Training with 97 prize-winning students out of a total of 150 contestants; Binh Son District Department of Education and Training with 87 prize-winning students; Tu Nghia District Department of Education and Training with 84 prize-winning students; Duc Pho Town Department of Education and Training with 67 prize-winning students...
