Hai Duong province delegation returns to Tay Ninh

Receiving the delegation were Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Ms. Nguyen Dai Thy - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, and leaders of provincial departments, branches and sectors.

Delegation of leaders from Hai Duong and Tay Ninh provinces visited the Hill 82 Martyrs Cemetery.

The delegation of Hai Duong province visited the Hill 82 Martyrs Cemetery in Thanh Tay Commune, Tan Bien District. The Hill 82 Martyrs Cemetery is the resting place of more than 15,000 martyrs from different periods of resistance wars to protect the Fatherland, martyrs of the Vietnamese volunteer army who sacrificed their lives in the war to protect the southwestern border, including nearly 400 martyrs from Hai Duong.

Delegates observed a minute of silence to commemorate the heroic martyrs.

Mr. Tran Duc Thang, Secretary of Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee and Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung, Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Tay Ninh Provincial People's Council offered incense at Hill 82 Martyrs Cemetery.

Here, the leaders of the two provinces observed a minute of silence to commemorate the heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the cause of national liberation and the noble international duty; offered flowers and incense to commemorate the great contributions of the heroic martyrs who did not spare their blood and bones for the independence and freedom of the nation.

Next, the delegation visited the special national relic site of the Central Office of the Southern Region in Tan Lap commune, Tan Bien district. Here, the delegates offered incense at the President Ho Chi Minh Memorial House and the stele house of the Central Office of the Southern Region.

Writing in the memorial book, Mr. Tran Duc Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee wrote: "The Party Committee, government and people of Hai Duong province would like to engrave, learn and follow the noble example of revolutionary predecessors and heroic martyrs to build our country more and more beautiful."

The delegation of leaders of the two provinces visited the Central Security Department of the Southern Region.

The delegation also visited the relic of the Central Security Department of the Southern Region.

At the end of the activities on the source, the delegation of Hai Duong province had a working session with the leaders of Tay Ninh province. At the meeting, the leaders of the two provinces informed each other about the socio-economic development situation of the two provinces in recent times.
