On the morning of March 29, DABACO Vietnam Group held the inauguration ceremony of the DACOVET vaccine factory at Khac Niem Industrial Park and announced the commercialization of the Dacovac-ASF2 vaccine. Attending the ceremony were comrade Le Minh Hoan, member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly; leaders of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment and central ministries and branches; representatives of diplomatic agencies: the United States, Denmark, and the Philippines.

The leaders of Bac Ninh province included comrade Vuong Quoc Tuan, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; former leaders of the province; members of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee; comrade Tran Thi Hang, member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council; comrade Ngo Tan Phuong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of departments, branches and localities.
DACOVET Factory, with a total investment of over 300 billion VND and a capacity of 200 million doses/year, is the 12th vaccine factory in Vietnam. Equipped with modern production lines imported from the US, Germany, and Japan; a fully automatic vial loading and unloading system for freeze-drying machines - an advanced and unique technology in Vietnam; an automatic packaging system and strict quality control, ensuring that 100% of products are inspected for sensory inspection and leakage before being released to the market... The DACOVET Factory production line has been granted a GMP-WHO certificate for good manufacturing practices.

The African swine fever vaccine Dacovac-ASF2 is the result of a long process of careful, scientific research and testing under the strict supervision of veterinary management agencies, confirming its safety, effectiveness and efficiency. The vaccine was licensed for commercial circulation on February 28, 2025, becoming a "biological shield" for the Vietnamese pig farming industry after heavy losses from ASF since 2019.
Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment Nguyen Hoang Hiep congratulated Dabaco Vietnam Group for its remarkable “Double” progress. The Deputy Minister acknowledged that Bac Ninh province has always accompanied and supported the project, contributing to making biotechnology a bright spot of the locality and the agricultural sector. Appreciating DABACO’s 3F+ vision (including: Feed, Farm, Food & Future) not only to solve immediate challenges but also towards a sustainable agricultural value chain, the Deputy Minister hoped that Bac Ninh province, Dabaco Group and related units would continue to coordinate with the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment to expand vaccine production for diseases in livestock and poultry; support farmers to access vaccines at reasonable costs; and improve disease prevention skills.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan affirmed: Bac Ninh province always identifies biotechnology as one of the pillars to promote sustainable economic and social development. DACOVET factory is an important first step, opening a new direction for the livestock industry, not only in Bac Ninh but also nationwide. The successful research and production of African swine fever vaccine demonstrates the capacity of Vietnamese enterprises to master science and technology, contributing to providing sustainable solutions, helping livestock farmers stabilize production and develop the economy.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee congratulated and commended the efforts of Dabaco Vietnam Group Joint Stock Company in completing the typical project, contributing to creating a particularly important mark in the development process of Bac Ninh province. This event continues to mark a new development step, a new direction, demonstrating the courage, determination, daring to think, daring to do of the Group's leaders.
To recognize and promptly encourage the breakthrough solutions to fight African Swine Fever of Dabaco Vietnam Group, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 2 groups and 9 individuals with outstanding achievements in the process of researching and producing Dacovet African Swine Fever vaccine.
