Pig price forecast for tomorrow, March 30, 2025, continues to decrease

The forecast for live hog prices on March 30, 2025 is that they will continue to decrease slightly or remain stable across the country. In the North and Central regions, prices are likely to decrease by another VND500-1,000/kg due to abundant supply while domestic demand has not improved.

Provinces such as Phu Tho and Vinh Phuc may reach 65,000-66,000 VND/kg, while Quang Binh and Quang Tri fluctuate around 66,000-67,000 VND/kg. In the southern region, prices are forecast to stabilize at around 73,000-75,000 VND/kg thanks to large enterprises proactively regulating supply and boosting exports to Cambodia and Laos. Some provinces such as Ca Mau and Can Tho may maintain higher prices of 76,000-77,000 VND/kg.

Farmers are advised to be flexible in their selling plans, especially in the Northern and Central provinces, so they should sell their pigs when they reach the right weight to minimize risks. The high price of animal feed continues to be a factor that puts pressure on farmers' profits.
