Lap Thach site clearance for Lao Cai - Vinh Yen 500kV transmission line project

Up to now, the site of the 500kV Lao Cai - Vinh Yen transmission line project passing through Lap Thach district has been basically completed. People unanimously supported and handed over the site to the State for construction to ensure project progress.

The project passes through 6 communes and towns of Lap Thach district with a total length of 13.61 km, with 30 pole positions. In which, Ngoc My commune is the locality with the largest total area that the project passes through. The commune has proactively and quickly identified the origin of the land, and reached out to each household to propagate and grasp the aspirations. All regimes, mechanisms, support policies, and legal regulations are public and transparent to create consensus and support from the people. With the highest political determination, implementing the spirit of "working during the day is not enough, working at night", the land clearance and recovery work of the project passing through the commune was completed ahead of schedule.

The biggest difficulty in the process of land acquisition and site clearance is that the project is implemented according to the newly issued Land Law 2024, and the decrees and decisions guiding the implementation process still have many difficulties and problems. However, the People's Committee of Lap Thach district promptly overcame the problem, sending officials of the investor and land acquisition mapping officers to closely coordinate with the district's professional agencies to hand over the boundary markers of the corridor to carry out the work of compensation, support and resettlement of the project in the most favorable way.

The active participation of authorities at all levels and the consensus of the people contributed to the early completion of the project, ensuring the goal of electricity supply and social security for the northern provinces in general and Vinh Phuc province in particular.
