At the meeting, the leaders of the Department of Planning and Investment reported on the summary of opinions at the 22nd Provincial Party Executive Committee Conference on the draft.

According to the report, many opinions said that it is necessary to emphasize the context of implementing the resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress in the context of being heavily affected by natural disasters and epidemics (storm No. 3, Covid-19 epidemic) to affirm the province's efforts.

Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Luu Van Ban emphasized a number of appendices on works, projects, and policies that need to be included in the draft political report.

Regarding the assessment of the implementation results of the resolution, it is necessary to evaluate the outstanding results achieved in investment in developing economic and social infrastructure; growth in key industries; and deeply evaluate and affirm the efforts of agencies in budget collection.

Regarding culture and people of Hai Duong, it is necessary to supplement the province's attention to social security policies, invest in cultural institutions at the grassroots level, and socialize cultural institutions...

Regarding resources and environment, it is necessary to highlight the limitations of low wastewater collection and treatment infrastructure, causing environmental pollution and affecting people's lives...

Comrade Bui Van Thang, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, suggested that some assessments of limitations in the draft report should be true to reality, substantive and specific.

The draft report also needs to add lessons learned and key tasks. These include implementing social housing programs, housing for low-income people, resolving unfinished construction projects, fighting waste, resolving outstanding debts in basic construction, and adding environmental protection tasks...

For each specific content, the delegates contributed many opinions and agreed to highlight the results that Hai Duong province has achieved.

Especially investment in developing socio-economic infrastructure, growth of key industries and efforts in budget collection... Limitations and causes need to be clarified and properly assessed in terms of substance and current situation.

Director of the Department of Planning and Investment Le Anh Dung reported on the synthesis of comments on the draft report at the 22nd Provincial Party Executive Committee Conference.

Concluding the meeting, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Luu Van Ban requested heads of departments and branches to send specific written comments on both the work areas in charge and general comments on the draft no later than December 20.

Opinions need to be deeply involved in the tasks of each industry and each field in a concise and specific manner. The members of the working group will receive comments at the meeting to edit the draft report.

Comrade Luu Van Ban emphasized the importance of having specific appendices on major projects and works that have been invested in this term; projects related to health, education, culture; social security policies; and evaluation of investment attraction results.

Based on the Provincial Planning and public investment plan, it is necessary to select and build a list of major projects and works to focus on directing and implementing in the next term.

For the departments and branches that will be merging and streamlining their apparatus in the future, the report still states the results achieved by each branch before the merger.
