In addition, to ensure the safety of students during the opening ceremony of the new school year 2024 - 2025 in Nghia Hanh district, the representative of the contractor for the XL01 package of the North - South Expressway Project, Quang Ngai - Hoai Nhon section, said that hundreds of vehicles carrying construction materials will be temporarily stopped tomorrow (September 5).

In the 2024-2025 school year, Quang Ngai will have nearly 600 educational units and facilities; approximately 9,200 classrooms with about 287,000 students. The province has allocated 30 billion VND from the education career fund for the education and training sector to repair facilities for 39 affiliated units.

Director of the Department of Education and Training of Quang Ngai province Nguyen Ngoc Thai said that up to this point, preparations for the new school year have been basically completed.

“Currently, the Department is coordinating with districts to conduct surveys to submit to competent authorities for inclusion in the 2026-2030 medium-term plan to implement infrastructure construction. Medium-term public investment projects will also prioritize schools in mountainous areas,” Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Thai informed.
