Hanoi City leaders visit President Ho Chi Minh

Kinhtedothi - The delegation of Hanoi City visited President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum and offered incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs at the Heroic Martyrs Monument on Bac Son Street on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Hanoi Party Committee (March 17, 1930 - March 17, 2025).

On the morning of March 13, a delegation of the Hanoi Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee led by Politburo member, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the City National Assembly Delegation Bui Thi Minh Hoai visited President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum and offered incense and commemorated the heroic martyrs at the Heroic Martyrs Monument on Bac Son Street on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Hanoi Party Committee (March 17, 1930 - March 17, 2025).

The delegation included Party Central Committee member, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh; Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Van Phong; Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Council Nguyen Ngoc Tuan; members of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee: Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the City, heads of Party Committees of the City Party Committee, leaders of the Standing Committee of the City People's Council and People's Committee; and leaders of departments, branches, mass organizations, localities...

Respectfully remembering President Ho Chi Minh, the city leaders expressed their infinite gratitude to the Father of the nation, the genius leader, the great teacher of the Vietnamese revolution, the national liberation hero, the outstanding cultural celebrity, the exemplary international communist soldier, and the close friend of peace-loving and progressive peoples around the world.

During his lifetime, President Ho Chi Minh always had special feelings for the capital city of Hanoi. In the first two congresses of the City Party Committee, he attended and gave instructions. On April 25, 1959, attending the Conference of cadres of the entire Hanoi Party Committee (the First Congress), he advised: “Party members and union members, wherever they are, whatever they do, must be exemplary. The Hanoi Party Committee must set an example for other Party Committees. The exemplary Hanoi Party Committee will contribute to bringing the North to socialism, creating a strong foundation for the struggle for national reunification”. Speaking at the Second Congress of the City Party Committee held in early 1961, President Ho Chi Minh emphasized the requirement: “The Capital Party Committee and the people, first of all the workers of the Capital, must be exemplary, be the locomotive, to lead the entire North to victory”.

Always keeping in mind Uncle Ho's feelings and teachings for the Capital, the City's leaders vow to continue to uphold the spirit of solidarity, well implement the working theme of the year "Discipline, responsibility, action, creativity, development", promote the exemplary spirit, successfully implement the Resolution of the 17th Congress of the City Party Committee, Resolution No. 15-NQ/TW dated May 5, 2022 of the Politburo on "Orientations and tasks for the development of Hanoi Capital to 2030, vision to 2045"; determined to build the Capital increasingly "Cultured - Civilized - Modern", exemplary, leading, with the country entering a new era - the era of national advancement.

Next, the Delegation offered incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs at the Heroic Martyrs Monument on Bac Son Street. The Delegation's wreath bore the words "Forever grateful to the heroic martyrs". The Delegation respectfully commemorated the heroic martyrs - the nation's outstanding sons who did not spare their blood and bones, bravely fought and sacrificed for the cause of national liberation, for independence, freedom, and for the happiness of the people.
