Nghi Xuan leaders dialogue with youth about digital transformation

Nghi Xuan Youth Union (Ha Tinh) frankly discussed with district leaders about issues related to digital transformation, policies, startups, employment, and human resources.

On the morning of October 25, Nghi Xuan District People's Committee organized a dialogue conference between the Chairman of the District People's Committee and young people with the topic: "Youth of Nghi Xuan District with digital transformation, digital economic development"

In an open atmosphere, the union officials and members frankly expressed and shared their thoughts and aspirations as well as made proposals and recommendations related to youth such as: there should be more specific directions on some contents and tasks that the union members can do to contribute to promoting digital transformation in the locality; preventing the situation of juvenile law violations not only happening in real life but also in cyberspace; applying digital technology in preserving and promoting unique ethnic art forms; propaganda work on cyberspace to young people about the culture and fine customs of the Vietnamese people; promoting the application of digital transformation to develop tourism in the locality...

Some other issues are also of interest to the Youth Union such as: establishing a database of support policies for the Youth Union and the people for reference and information search; considering regular funding for annual activities of the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations at the commune level; support policies to encourage the Youth Union to participate in creative research activities and put inventions into practical application...

At the conference, Chairman of Nghi Xuan District People's Committee Le Anh Dung emphasized: To promote the role and vanguard of young people in the task of digital transformation, it is recommended that relevant departments, offices and units seriously absorb the opinions and recommendations of young people, at the same time propose specific and appropriate directions and implement creative activities in the field of information technology and digital transformation; continue to pay regular attention to vocational training, job creation, start-ups and career establishment for young people.

The Youth Union force in the area must take the lead in implementing online public services when transacting, actively participating in community digital transformation teams at units and localities; promoting good models and effective practices, contributing to promoting socio-economic development, maintaining political security and social order and safety in the district.
