From October 1976 - August 1977: soldier of Group 871, student of Cultural School, Ministry of National Defense.

From September 1977 - October 1979: student at Military Technical Academy.

From November 1979 - August 1980: soldier d18, Division 390, Army Corps 1.

From September 1980 - July 1984: student of Information Technology School; Military Foreign Language University (now Military Science Academy).

From August 1984 - August 1988: professional assistant of Department 3, Group 817, Research Department, General Staff, participating in carrying out missions in Cambodia.

From September 1988 - June 1989: sent for professional training at the Soviet Intelligence Academy.

From July 1989 - August 1993: Deputy Head of Department 3, Group 817, Research Department, General Staff.

From September 1993 - December 1994: Head of Department 9, Department 12, General Department II, Ministry of National Defense.

From January 1995 - October 1999: Deputy Director, Director of Department 12, General Department II, Ministry of National Defense.

From November 1999 - February 2009: Deputy Director General, Director General of General Department II, Ministry of National Defense.
