For the performance of the Military Ceremonial Corps before the parade, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Tan Cuong requested the participating forces to study and practice more movements when moving in formation, clarifying the image of the Dien Bien Phu victory monument in the performance. In addition, the artillery force should pay attention to ensuring accurate firing time. The frontline laborers (bicycle carriers) need to move decisively, expressing the heroic spirit of Dien Bien in the past...
Noting that there is not much time left until the celebration, including holidays, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Tan Cuong directed the forces participating in the parade and marching to refine their ranks, paying special attention to the movements when preparing for the parade and marching through the stage. During the process of moving to Dien Bien province, the forces participating in the parade and marching need to uphold their responsibility, be ready to overcome difficulties; strictly follow discipline, and ensure absolute safety for people and weapons and equipment.
Upon arrival in Dien Bien, if any problems arise, the units will promptly report to the Parade and Marching Subcommittee to receive maximum support depending on the actual situation in the area. The military units will conduct their own joint training in Dien Bien before participating in the preliminary and final rehearsals with the police units and the masses to prepare for the 70th Anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory on May 7.
In addition to the training sessions, the Parade and Marching Subcommittee organized 6 joint training sessions as planned. After each joint training session, lessons were learned, specific limitations and shortcomings were promptly pointed out to each group and recommendations were made for improvement.
The first performance lasted about 20 minutes by the Military Honor Guard, before the parade.
