On May 15, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Police Delegation led by Colonel Le Ngoc Anh, Deputy Director of the Provincial Police, visited and congratulated the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) in Thanh Hoa province on the occasion of the Buddha's birthday, Buddhist calendar 2568 - Gregorian calendar 2024.

At the meeting, the Deputy Director of the Provincial Police sent congratulations to Most Venerable Thich Tam Dinh, Member of the Central Executive Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, Head of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Thanh Hoa province; Most Venerable Thich Tam Duc, Standing Member of the Central Executive Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Legal Department of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, Witness of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Thanh Hoa province and monks, nuns and Buddhists on the occasion of the Great Buddha's Birthday, Buddhist calendar 2568 - Gregorian calendar 2024.
The Deputy Director of the Provincial Police emphasized: Throughout the history of the nation, Vietnamese Buddhism has always been a patriotic religion, closely associated with the nation, becoming a beautiful cultural feature of the nation, having many positive influences in social life. In particular, the role and contributions of dignitaries, monks, nuns, and Buddhists in promoting and building the great national unity bloc, participating in maintaining security and order in the locality are extremely great.
He hoped that in the coming time, dignitaries, monks, nuns and Buddhists in the province will continue to support and accompany the Party Committee, government and people to actively participate in local patriotic emulation movements. Especially, together with the police forces in the province, they will do a good job of ensuring security and order, building a mass movement to protect national security and order at grassroots levels that is increasingly deep and widespread among monks, nuns and Buddhists, contributing to the successful implementation of economic, cultural - social, national defense and security goals in the province.

In the coming time, the provincial VBS in general, monks, nuns and Buddhists in particular will continue to perform well the religious work and always accompany the nation to do well the social security work, the work of ensuring security and order, contributing with the authorities at all levels to successfully achieve economic, cultural and social goals.
