Spreading the love of classical music to young people

The Hanoi Concert: Winter Concert program will be broadcast live on HN1, FM96, Hanoi On application and digital platforms of Hanoi Radio and Television Station. With the Hanoi Concert: Winter Concert program, audiences can enjoy a night of classical music through the perspective and performance of young artists who are both pure and full of passion, ambition and excitement.

Throughout the program, there were performances by the Vietnam Youth Symphony Orchestra (VYO) and the Binh Minh Choir under the direction of conductor - PhD Phan Do Phuc, generation 9X, with arrangements by Singaporean musician Alex Oon and musician Dang Huu Phuc. The Vietnam Youth Symphony Orchestra is the first symphony orchestra whose members are all multinational youth aged 12-22 who are passionate about music and are still in school.

Conductor Phan Do Phuc has achieved international success as a soloist, concertmaster, and orchestral musician. He has served as principal cellist for many prestigious American and international orchestras such as the Napa Valley Festival Orchestra, Pacific Music Festival Orchestra, New York Classical Player Orchestra, and Stony Brook Symphony Orchestra.

The program includes many parts, including classic works such as Violin Concerto "Winter" - Chapter 1 by Antonio Vivaldi, Hungarian Dance No. 5 - a vibrant, energetic melody by one of the most outstanding composers of the German Romantic period - Johannes Brahms or Sleigh Ride - an energetic Christmas skit, quite familiar to Vietnamese audiences...

Besides, there are Vietnamese folk works such as Xe chi thong kim - one of the most beautiful and familiar melodies of Vietnamese folk songs, which was skillfully arranged for the symphony orchestra by musician Tran Manh Hung.

In particular, with the theme of winter - towards warmth and return, the show also has a family medley with familiar and emotional songs by musicians Trinh Cong Son and Pham Trong Cau, promising to create deep emotions in the hearts of the audience.
