On October 11, the City Youth Social Work Center (Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union) put into use a toilet facility at the Ka Do Primary School branch (Nghia Hiep 1 - Ka Do commune - Don Duong district - Lam Dong province).

This is a modern toilet project implemented in accordance with the infrastructure standards issued by the Ministry of Education and Training. The total value of the project is nearly 700 million VND, sponsored by Orion Vina Food Company.

According to the City Youth Social Work Center, the toilet construction at Ka Do Primary School is part of a project to renovate and build new toilets at regional schools, implemented by the unit and sponsor Orion Vina Food Company.

The project will build a total of 16 modern toilets in remote districts of Lam Dong province, to serve the essential activities of students when they go to school.

The total cost of the project is recorded at more than 7.5 billion VND, starting from the end of 2023. By October 2024, the program had built and handed over 8 toilets.

The remaining 8 toilet projects will be completed and handed over in the coming phase.

The city's Youth Social Work Center added that in addition to building toilets, the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union and Lam Dong Provincial Youth Union also cooperated to improve students' skills in preventing abuse.
