Tennis player Nick Kyrgios has asked Carlos Alcaraz to schedule an exhibition match in Spain after recovering from a wrist injury.
Nick Kyrgios has been sidelined for much of the season due to injury but remains confident in his own abilities. After praising Carlos Alcaraz's win at Wimbledon, the Australian admitted he would like to play his junior next year.

"I'd love to see how I'd play against Alcaraz if he was fit. Alcaraz, what do you think about hosting a match in your hometown next year?", Kyrgios wrote on his personal Instagram page.
Kyrgios skipped Wimbledon this month because he had not recovered from a wrist injury in time. He also left open the possibility of playing hard-court tournaments in August, including the US Open. The 28-year-old believes the ATP Tour lacks appeal without him and Nadal. "It will be better when me and Rafael Nadal are back," Kyrgios said.
To prove his ability, Kyrgios retweeted a statistic showing that he led in serving and pressure points, while Alcaraz led in returning points. The Australian's post sparked controversy, with many fans mocking Kyrgios for not having won a Masters 1000 or Grand Slam title.
Kyrgios has been a professional for 10 years, winning seven ATP Tour titles – five fewer than Alcaraz. Kyrgios has never broken into the ATP top 10, while Alcaraz is the world number one.
Kyrgios has repeatedly admitted that he is not fully focused on tennis. In an interview last week, he said: "With all the parties and all the drinks I've had, I'm probably 57. I'm definitely not going to play until I'm 33. Tennis is not everything to me."
