On February 13, in Thanh Tri district (Hanoi), the 235th anniversary of the Ngoc Hoi victory in the spring of the year Ky Dau 1789 took place, to honor the hero Quang Trung - Nguyen Hue, who made a historic feat of defeating 290,000 Qing troops, creating a resounding page in the history of the Vietnamese nation.

On the 4th day of the Giap Thin Lunar New Year, people gathered at Thanh Tri District Square to attend the Ngoc Hoi Victory celebration. This important event attracted the attention and participation of many people inside and outside the region, to express gratitude and remember the heroes who regained freedom for the country.
The victory at Ngoc Hoi in the spring of the year Ky Dau 1789 is a glorious song in the history of the nation. With his military talent and leadership vision, Nguyen Hue organized and commanded a fierce battle, defeated the Qing army, marking an important turning point in the resistance war against the Qing invasion.

He showed his resilience and seriousness in the war. With smart tactics, the Vietnamese army shocked the Qing army, destroying and capturing thousands of enemy soldiers, thereby opening up the opportunity to gain sovereignty for the beloved country.
Today, the name Quang Trung - Nguyen Hue is not only a symbol of patriotism, the spirit of fighting for freedom and justice, but also a source of inspiration and pride for the entire Vietnamese people.
The 235th anniversary of the Ngoc Hoi Victory in the Spring of the Year of the Rooster 1789 evoked historical memories and reminded each individual of his or her responsibility to the country and people.
