Opening of the Festival "Tam Ky - Sua Flower Season 2025"

Attending the opening ceremony were Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Phan Thai Binh; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Nam Hung; Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department Huynh Thi Thuy Dung; Secretary of the Tam Ky City Party Committee Nguyen Thi Thu Lan along with many Tam Ky residents and tourists.

In his opening speech, Permanent Vice Chairman of Tam Ky City People's Committee Nguyen Minh Nam emphasized that, continuing the series of activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Tam Ky City and Quang Nam Province, preparing to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the complete liberation of the South and national reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), in the peaceful and poetic space of Huong Tra Eco-Village, Tam Ky City organized the opening ceremony of the "Tam Ky - Sua Flower Season 2025" Festival with the theme "Brilliant yellow flowers".

This is an important annual cultural and tourism event of the city to promote the image of Tam Ky land and people to domestic and international friends. Besides, it is an opportunity to honor and spread the beauty of the yellow sua flower - a typical flower, a heritage tree of Tam Ky land.

Tam Ky is a land where mountains, rivers and the hard work of many generations converge and crystallize. Every April, the yellow sưa trees bloom in full bloom, blooming on the streets of the city and blending together to create a magical picture.

In particular, at Huong Tra Eco-Village, rows of hundreds of years old golden su trees stretch out, blooming together, competing in yellow, creating a smooth orange-yellow silk strip reflecting on the blue Tam Ky River!

Mentioning Tam Ky is not only the land of three mountains, three rivers with gentle, hospitable and affectionate people, but also remembers the dear name "City of yellow sua flowers".

With its own beauty and value, the Sua flower has entered poetry; in particular, along with the shape of the river and mountains, it has been chosen as the symbol of Tam Ky City; the Sua flower is chosen to express the spirit of "The mountains and rivers bloom".

Immediately after the opening ceremony, an art program with the theme "Yellow Flowers" took place.

Many songs praising the homeland, the country, the beauty of Quang Nam and the beloved homeland Tam Ky were performed by singers Thanh Yen, Le Trong Hieu, Huu Duc, La Trinh, Xuan Ly, Sy Nguyen, My Hoan, Diem Phuc, Le Van along with the performances of Dai Ngan Band, Ao Dai Designer Model Group Anh Pham, Sac Viet Dance Group and especially the artistic paragliding performance from the Tropical Forest Paragliding Team Da Nang, leaving many emotions for the audience.
