Thematic session of the Provincial People's Council passed resolutions on economy

On the afternoon of March 20, at the Provincial People's Committee hall, the 19th Provincial People's Council, term 2021 - 2026, held the 24th Session (Special Session) to consider and resolve issues under its authority.

Speaking at the opening of the session, comrade Dang Thanh Son, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council emphasized: The 24th session (Special session) of the 19th Provincial People's Council will discuss, consider and approve many important contents within its authority. The content of this session is very important for timely implementation of economic development tasks and ensuring social security of the province. Therefore, the delegates of the Provincial People's Council should uphold their sense of responsibility; promote their intelligence, focus on carefully studying the contents of the draft submissions and resolutions and discuss and contribute many quality opinions to the contents of the session so that the Provincial People's Council can consider and pass resolutions to ensure regulations, meet the requirements and tasks of socio-economic development and the aspirations of voters and people, contributing to the success of the session.

At the meeting, the Provincial People's Council conducted the procedure for dismissing members of the Provincial People's Committee. Accordingly, the meeting considered and unanimously dismissed the following members of the Ha Nam Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term: Truong Quoc Bao, former Director of the Department of Transport; Pham Chi Thong, former Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment; Nguyen Van Hao, former Director of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs and Nguyen Tat Nhien, former Director of the Department of Science and Technology (due to transfer to another job).

Following the session, the reports of the Provincial People's Committee were heard. Based on the review of the reports of the Provincial People's Committee; the verification reports of the committees: Culture - Society; Economy - Budget and the Legal Committee of the Provincial People's Council; based on the provisions of current laws and the actual situation of the province, the delegates of the Provincial People's Council upheld the spirit of responsibility, promoted democracy, intelligence, focused on researching, discussing, agreeing and voting to pass thematic resolutions at the 24th Session, including resolutions on the fields of finance and investment planning; regulations on the level of daily allowances for militia forces, the level of monthly allowances for village (team) team leaders in Ha Nam province and resolutions on the fields of internal affairs; education - training; agriculture - rural areas, land management, etc.

Speaking at the meeting, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Truong Quoc Huy emphasized the important tasks that the whole province is focusing on implementing, including streamlining the apparatus and merging localities according to the direction of the Central Government, while still striving for double-digit growth. The resolutions passed at this meeting are very important, promptly meeting the requirements and tasks of socio-economic development of the province; are the basis and legal basis for the Provincial People's Committee, relevant levels and sectors to proactively have breakthrough solutions to implement the goals and tasks of 2025 and are the premise for implementing socio-economic development tasks in the coming time. Speaking at the closing session, Mr. Dang Thanh Son, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, affirmed: The thematic session (24th session) of the Provincial People's Council has completed all the contents of the proposed program. In order to promptly carry out tasks serving economic development and ensuring social security of the province, immediately after the session, the Provincial People's Committee urgently concretized and directed the implementation of the resolutions passed by the session, especially the resolution related to supporting the construction of new houses for people with meritorious services to the revolution and relatives of martyrs, poor households, near-poor households, ensuring the implementation of the goal of eliminating temporary houses and dilapidated houses in the province in 2025. Continue to resolutely direct the implementation of tasks of socio-economic development, finance - budget, public investment... striving to successfully complete the goals and plans for 2025 and the period 2021-2025. Regularly direct the review and monitoring of the implementation of issued mechanisms, policies and resolutions, promptly propose adjustments and supplements in accordance with legal provisions and practical conditions. Propose that the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, committees of the Provincial People's Council, and delegations of the Provincial People's Council strengthen the supervision of the implementation of the resolutions of the Provincial People's Council that have been issued, detect difficulties, obstacles and shortcomings; propose and recommend competent agencies to promptly remove them so that the resolutions can be effective. Provincial People's Council delegates promptly disseminate and inform voters about the resolutions passed by the Provincial People's Council, creating high consensus and unity in the organization and implementation.
