The implementation of load control at source, warehouse, and yard, along with the commitment of companies and enterprises, has contributed to controlling the load violations of freight vehicles in the province in recent times.
Implementing Plan No. 43 of the Department of Transport on controlling and handling violations, transporting oversized and overloaded goods, and arbitrarily changing the size of the vehicle's body. Since March 2024, the Department of Transport Inspectorate has developed a monthly plan, in which the top priority is to promote propaganda for companies and transport businesses to sign a commitment to comply with the correct load. Accordingly, the unit has had 30 companies and businesses voluntarily sign the commitment.



Minh Hung Transport One Member Co., Ltd., participating in transport in urban area No. 5, Bac Cuong ward, Lao Cai city, is a unit that has signed a commitment to strictly implement the load capacity during the transport process in the area. Mr. Tong Van Thang, the company's transport vehicle manager, said that after signing the commitment with the authorities, the company always reminds drivers to fully implement the content from vehicle safety inspection before going on the road to ensuring the load capacity according to regulations.
In addition to signing the commitment, the Department of Transport Inspectorate has synchronously deployed the task of controlling the load at the source, warehouse, and yard with the goal of monitoring and promoting propaganda and education on self-conscious compliance with the Road Traffic Law; seriously and effectively implementing Directive No. 51-CT/TU of the Provincial Party Committee and documents and plans of the Provincial People's Committee on vehicle load control. Thereby, enhancing the responsibility, obligation, and awareness of compliance with the provisions of the law of cargo handling units, vehicle owners, and drivers regarding automobile transportation activities, ensuring order and safety of cargo transportation, and not allowing overloaded vehicles to participate in traffic on the roads.


Mr. Pham Thanh Hung, Captain of Traffic Inspection Team No. 1, Department of Transport Inspectorate, said: Inspection activities are conducted regularly and continuously, ensuring compliance with the provisions of the Inspection Law, the Road Traffic Law and other relevant legal provisions. On average, each month, the team organizes weighing and load inspection of about 150 vehicles in all districts, towns and cities, mainly controlling at the source, warehouses and yards.
Along with controlling the load at the source, the traffic inspection force has also coordinated with the traffic police and related agencies and units in preventing and handling violations of traffic order and safety. Thereby, improving the control of vehicle load.
