Accordingly, electricity customers and people must strictly comply with the following: Do not stand in the rain at the foot of electric poles, under the eaves of transformer stations; do not directly touch electric poles, ground wires, electric pole ties, meter boxes, circuit breakers; do not go to the terrace or roof where electric lines pass through. People should also not arbitrarily repair outdoor electrical lines or equipment; absolutely do not use electrical structures (electric poles, electrical cabinets, electrical stations, etc.) to position vehicles, objects, civil works (rain shelters, tents, shops, etc.) or to anchor ships and boats.
In addition, electricity customers and people should do the following: Turn off the power supply if the indoor area is flooded or the floor is wet from rain or wind; the installation of electrical wires, electrical outlets, and electrical equipment in the house must be higher than the water level that is often flooded or wet; install appropriate anti-leakage switching and cutting devices; cut off the power supply to outdoor electrical equipment (signs, billboards, etc.) during heavy rain or strong winds.
If you discover an electrical problem caused by a natural disaster such as: a fallen or broken electric pole, or a broken wire, do not approach and notify everyone around.
