About 10 km from the center of Kim Son district, the garden of Mr. Do Thien Nhan, born in 1991 in Hamlet 8, Hoi Ninh Commune, Kim Son District, is becoming a favorite meeting place for flower lovers. Under the summer sunlight, the flower garden becomes more sparkling and brilliant, captivating visitors from near and far.
Entering the garden is a cool green space, filled with the bright colors of flowers. The first impression is the rows of fresh, shimmering flowers, welcoming the summer sunlight, making the dirt road leading to the garden even more poetic and intimate.
Going deeper inside, visitors will be delighted by the poetic scenery of Thien Nhan flower garden. On one side is a vast lotus garden with white and pink lotus flowers exuding a fragrant scent. On the other side is decorated with hundreds of wallflowers, bougainvillea, and old roses in full bloom.
Ms. Thu Ha (Kim Son district) shared: "Some people in the district grow lotus but only to sell flowers and flower seeds, not to arrange a space for visitors to take photos. This is the first lotus pond with a place to pose, props, photography services, and professional makeup. The lotus here is a very beautiful and unique type of lotus. Now I don't need to go far to freely create shapes with my favorite flower."

In addition to the vibrant colors of lotus flowers, visitors can also freely preserve memories under the canopies of wallflowers and bougainvillea. Tuyen Tuyen (Kim Son district) said: "As a flower lover, when I come here, I feel like I'm lost in the world of my dreams. The whole garden is so vast, every corner makes me fascinated, I just want to keep breathing in the scent."
According to Mr. Do Thien Nhan, the owner of the garden, the garden has a total area of about 2 hectares. Trees and flowers in the garden are planted according to a specific regional plan to suit the amount of light as well as each corner is beautiful and pleasing to the eye. The lotus growing area is about 7 sao along with 300 rose bushes, 200 bougainvillea bushes, wallflowers and 500 peach trees. In addition, he also arranges ponds for fish farming, above are Japanese squash trellises for visitors to experience harvesting agricultural products and fishing.
Talking about his idea, the young man born in 1991 confided: "It originated from my love for plants and flowers since I was a child, so I always wanted to have my own garden full of colorful flowers." Thinking and doing, while working as an auto mechanic, Thien Nhan quit his job to realize his idea.
"If we only do agriculture to harvest agricultural products, it will be very unstable because it depends a lot on market prices and weather. I follow the direction of developing experiential agriculture associated with ecotourism. Initially, I built an ancient rose garden on a few acres of my family's land. The result was a lot of love and welcome from the people and tourists from near and far who came to check in, but the garden was quite small and only served one rose season."
In early 2023, Mr. Thien Nhan rented 2 hectares of ineffective agricultural land from the commune. From here, the flower garden has a variety of different species. He said: "Although it has only been open for about a month, the garden has welcomed many visitors to visit and take pictures. This is a joy and motivation for me to continue to improve and take better care of the flower garden to bring people many interesting experiences."

Mr. Tran Quang Dai, Vice Chairman of Hoi Ninh Commune People's Committee, Kim Son District, assessed: From the first rose garden to the new garden of young man Do Thien Nhan, initially assessed this as a model that brings high economic efficiency, contributing to environmental protection and building a green - clean - beautiful natural landscape of the locality.
Hoi Ninh is a locality with a large agricultural area, fertile land, and hard-working, hospitable people. This place is especially famous for its peach growing and traditional handicrafts. This is a great potential for the locality to exploit its agricultural strengths in conjunction with the development of eco-tourism and craft village tourism.
"It can be said that this model is very suitable for the orientation of agricultural development towards commodities, agriculture associated with eco-tourism in Hoi Ninh in the future. Thien Nhan flower garden not only helps local people have different perspectives on modern agricultural practices but also contributes to promoting the image and local people, increasing income for rural people" - Mr. Tran Quang Dai added.
Talking about the plan to welcome guests, Mr. Do Thien Nhan said that he will build the garden according to each season. Each season has its own flowers. For example, in the cold season, he will focus on growing flowers such as hydrangeas, peach blossoms, sunflowers, roses. In the hot season, he will focus on growing flowers such as lotus, wallflowers, bougainvillea, etc. so that visitors coming here can always be immersed in the fresh space of flowers. In addition, in the future, the young owner will also consider opening more food and beverage services to promote his hometown's specialties and serve the needs of tourists.
Hopefully, the initial successes and enthusiastic response from visitors will be the motivation for the young man "Farmer" to continue to strive and turn the garden into a meeting place for many flower lovers.
