The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said that cold air from the North is currently moving south.

It is forecasted that around early morning and on October 1, this cold air mass will affect the Northeast region, then affect the North Central region, some places in the Northwest and North Central regions.

According to the meteorological agency, during this cold air mass, the weather in the North and North Central regions will turn cool; nights and early mornings will be cold, especially in the mountainous areas of the North.

The lowest temperature in the North and Thanh Hoa is generally from 19-22 degrees Celsius, in mountainous areas 17-19 degrees Celsius, in high mountainous areas below 16 degrees Celsius; in Nghe An - Ha Tinh area, the lowest temperature is generally from 20-23 degrees Celsius.

Hanoi: From the night of September 30 to the early morning of October 1, there will be showers and thunderstorms at times. From tomorrow afternoon, the wind will change to the northeast at level 2-3. At night, the weather will turn cool with the lowest temperature commonly 21-23 degrees Celsius.

Southeast wind level 2-3, from early morning the wind changes to northeast level 2-3. Thunderstorms are likely to cause tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

Thanh Hoa to Thua Thien Hue: Cloudy, scattered showers and thunderstorms, from tomorrow afternoon there will be moderate rain, heavy rain and scattered thunderstorms, locally very heavy rain. Thanh Hoa and Nghe An are cloudy, with rain at night and in the morning, moderate rain and scattered thunderstorms, locally heavy rain, later there will be showers and thunderstorms in some places. Light wind.

Thunderstorms may produce tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong winds.

Da Nang to Binh Thuan: Cloudy, showers and thunderstorms in some places in the late afternoon and night, sunny during the day. Light wind. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.

Lowest temperature from 24-27 degrees Celsius; highest temperature from 32-35 degrees Celsius.

Central Highlands: Cloudy, with scattered showers and thunderstorms in the late afternoon and evening, sunny during the day. Light winds. Thunderstorms may cause tornadoes, lightning, and strong gusts of wind.

Lowest temperature from 20-23 degrees Celsius; highest temperature from 30-33 degrees Celsius.

Southern region: Cloudy, with scattered showers and thunderstorms in the late afternoon and evening, sunny during the day. Light winds. Thunderstorms may cause tornadoes, lightning, and strong gusts of wind.

Lowest temperature from 24-27 degrees Celsius; highest temperature from 32-35 degrees Celsius.
