Northeast wind inland increases to level 3, coastal areas level 4.
According to Mr. Nguyen Van Huong, Head of Weather Forecast Department (National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting), from November 18, the Northeast and Thanh Hoa will have cold nights and early mornings.
From November 20, the Northern and North Central regions will have cold nights and mornings.
The lowest temperature in this cold air mass in the North and North Central regions is generally from 18-20 degrees Celsius, in mountainous areas it is below 15 degrees Celsius.

Mr. Huong said that from November 18, in the Gulf of Tonkin, the Northeast wind will gradually increase to level 6, gusting to level 7-8; the sea will be rough, with waves 2-4m high. In the North East Sea, the Northeast wind will increase to level 6-7, gusting to level 8-9; the sea will be rough, with waves 3-5m high.
Due to the influence of disturbances in the upper easterly wind zone combined with cold air, from November 18 to 19, the North and Central Central regions will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, with some places having heavy rain.
Thunderstorms may cause tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.
