On the morning of September 17, the provincial working delegation conducted a field survey, evaluated the results and documents of the criteria for advanced new rural communes (NTM) for the communes of Khanh Duong, Yen Dong and Yen Thanh (Yen Mo district).

Comrade Nguyen Thi Lan Anh, Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, Deputy Chief of the Provincial New Rural Area Coordination Office, was the Head of the working delegation. Accompanying the delegation were leaders of units who are members of the Council for Appraisal, Review and Recognition of Communes that Meet Advanced New Rural Area and Model New Rural Area Standards in Ninh Binh Province.
The Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, the District People's Committee, the District Steering Committee for New Rural Construction; and the District New Rural Coordination Office worked with the Inspection Team.
In 2024, Yen Mo district will have 3 communes Yen Dong, Yen Thanh and Khanh Duong building advanced NTM communes. Right from the beginning of the year, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee and the leaders of the District People's Committee worked with the Standing Committees of the Party Committees of the 3 communes, directed the development of plans, implementation roadmaps and focused on mobilizing all resources to complete the criteria of advanced NTM communes.
With the attention, direction and support of the province and district, and the high determination of the communes, up to now, all 3 communes have completed 19/19 advanced NTM criteria and fully completed the records and database system.
Based on the Central's criteria for advanced new-style rural communes and model new-style rural communes and specific regulations of the province; regulations on conditions, order, procedures, and records, the communes have organized self-assessment, completed records, and archived evidence records for 19 criteria at the commune level.
In the process of completing the dossier at the communes, always ensure the order and procedures are in accordance with regulations, and collect opinions from the Fatherland Front, organizations and socio-political organizations in the area.
The district has organized the examination and completed the dossier to request the Provincial People's Committee to appraise. 99% of the people surveyed were satisfied with the results of building advanced new rural areas in 3 communes.
At the working session with Yen Mo district, members of the provincial Appraisal Council shared experiences, proposed solutions to remove difficulties, and accompanied Yen Mo district to complete the task of building new rural areas in 2024.
In particular, it is emphasized that localities need to coordinate with specialized agencies to carefully review small indicators belonging to the criteria: poor households, standard schools, rate of workers trained in accordance with regulations, and submit them to specialized agencies for confirmation...
Concluding the working session, the Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, Deputy Chief of the Provincial New Rural Area Coordination Office highly appreciated the creative spirit in directing and implementing the tasks of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee and the People's Committee of Yen Mo District. At the same time, he requested the communes to focus on completing the criteria documents to submit to the district's specialized departments for review and submit to the provincial departments and branches for appraisal according to the set roadmap and plan.
Previously, the working delegation of the province and Yen Mo district inspected the criteria: culture, schools, handicraft production facilities, OCOP products in Khanh Duong, Yen Dong and Yen Thanh communes. These are localities striving to achieve the standards of advanced NTM communes by 2024.
