The official survey took place from August 15 to 19 at the Academy of Journalism and Communication by the External Evaluation Expert Team, carrying out the following activities: Studying evidence; discussing with units; attending classes; observing the school's main and extracurricular activities; interviewing stakeholders inside and outside the school; inspecting and surveying facilities, etc.
At the closing ceremony, the representative of the external assessment team reported the preliminary results of the official survey assessing the quality of 4 regular university training programs of the Academy of Journalism and Communication. The results showed that the programs have set clear goals, consistent with the vision and mission of the School, which are specified through output standards. The content and structure of the training program are reasonably designed, teaching and learning activities are rich and diverse. The form of testing and assessment of learning outcomes is consistent with the training goals. The capacity and performance of the teaching staff are clearly managed and assessed. Admission policies and criteria are specifically defined, learners are supported and advised, ensuring the necessary conditions for learning and training. The rate of graduates from the training program having jobs is high. The team of experts also pointed out limitations and proposed specific recommendations for the 4 training programs of the School.

Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Minh Son, Director of the Academy, said that the Evaluation Team had completed the official survey of the training program in the past 5 days at the Academy with a very serious, responsible, objective and deeply humane spirit. At the same time, the Director of the Academy seriously accepted the recommendations of the external evaluation team to promote strengths and overcome limitations, thereby having specific plans and action programs to improve the quality of education in the coming period.
Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Minh Son also acknowledged and highly appreciated the positive contributions of all cadres, civil servants, employees, trainees and students of the School in the past time, who did not hesitate to face difficulties and unanimously joined the School's leaders in participating in the external assessment in a professional and objective manner to affirm the reputation and quality of the School's training program.
Dr. Nguyen Dinh Huy, Deputy Director of the Center for Education Quality Assessment - Vinh University, highly appreciated many strengths of the University and hoped that, after the successes achieved, the University will continue to promote the work of ensuring the quality of training programs according to a systematic standard to attract more students and train more high-quality human resources to serve the labor market.

At the end of the closing session, the Head of the external assessment team, the leaders of the Center for Education Quality Assessment - Vinh University, and the Director of the Academy of Journalism and Communication signed the minutes of completion of the official survey of the training program.
In 2022, the Academy received Quality Accreditation certification for 4 training programs: Philosophy, International Relations, Public Relations, Sociology.
In 2023, the Academy was granted educational accreditation certificates for 7 undergraduate training programs: Scientific Socialism, Political Economy, History of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Party Building, State Administration, Publishing and Editing, Advertising, and English Language.
In early 2024, the Academy was awarded a certificate of meeting the second cycle of educational institution quality assessment standards and continued to implement assessment for university training programs.
