The development of social media, artificial intelligence and many other breakthrough technologies continue to reshape our society, changing the way we interact, collaborate and understand each other."

Dr. Trieu Thanh Le, Head of the Faculty of Journalism and Communication, University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Ho Chi Minh City National University), affirmed that journalism and communication activities contribute to creating positive changes, but on the contrary, they can also have negative impacts on society.

"Therefore, during the training process, in general subjects, we equip students with knowledge about environment and development, anthropology, economics, global issues... When studying their major, students are encouraged to carry out projects, discover prominent issues in society and propose solutions. In addition, they participate in projects of non-governmental organizations to develop communication skills, and have awareness of the role of communication in the development of social issues", Dr. Thanh Le informed.

Dr. Vu Tuan Anh, Deputy Head of the Department of Communication and Foreign Culture at the Diplomatic Academy, also emphasized that allowing communication students to participate in practical projects on gender equality, culture, etc. will help students gain a better understanding and awareness of the relationship between communication and development in Vietnam in the current context.
