NDO - The 2025 Vietnam Cultural Festival in Osaka is not only an opportunity to preserve and spread Vietnamese culture but also a bridge to bring the image of the country and people of Vietnam closer to international friends.

"Vietnam Cultural Festival 2025" is organized by the Vietnam-Japan Economic Cooperation Promotion Association, under the auspices of the Consulate General of Vietnam in Osaka (Japan).

According to the Organizing Committee of the 2025 Vietnamese Cultural Festival, the Festival took place on March 30 at the Sakai City Hall, Osaka. This is an opportunity for the Vietnamese community in Osaka in particular and across Japan in general to meet, exchange, strengthen solidarity and support each other in the process of integration into the local society.

The Vietnam Cultural Festival 2025 is organized towards the country's important celebrations in 2025 such as the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), and the 80th anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).

Mr. Ngo Trinh Ha, Consul General of Vietnam in Japan; Mr. Yamasaki Hisaki, Director of the Department of Culture and Tourism of Sakai City; Ms. Le Thuong, President of the Vietnamese Association in Kansai region; Mr. Vu Hoang Duc, President of the Vietnam-Japan Economic Cooperation Promotion Association; ... and delegates cut the ribbon to open the event.

The 2025 Vietnam Cultural Festival recreated the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day in Osaka. This is the 8th time the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day has been recreated in the Land of the Rising Sun.

The program featured People's Artist Thanh Hoa with two songs "Rice Village, Flower Village" and "My Train Passes the Mountain".

The group of artists from the show “Anh trai vu ngan cong gai” performed about 20 songs, receiving enthusiastic cheers from thousands of Vietnamese and Japanese audiences in Osaka.

Attending the Festival, young people studying and living in Japan were proud of the national flag and traditional ao dai.
