(NADS) - On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024), on the morning of October 9, the Hanoi People's Committee held the inauguration ceremony and installed the signboard of the Hanoi Children's Hospital.

This is one of the city's key projects, marking an important milestone in the socio-economic development of Hanoi in recent years.

Hanoi Children's Hospital is located on Nguyen Trac Street, Yen Nghia Ward, Ha Dong District, with an investment of 785 billion VND from the city budget, with a scale of 200 inpatient beds in phase 1. The hospital is built on an area of 67,863m2, including a 6-storey building with 2 units (1A and 1B) with areas of 17,316m2 and 11,797m2 respectively. Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Vu Thu Ha said that in preparation for the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital, since the end of 2023, the city has directed the implementation of comprehensive activities in all fields, promoting all resources, continuing to promote economic and cultural development, ensuring social security, and enhancing the position and prestige of Hanoi Capital.

In particular, Hanoi Children's Hospital is one of 29 projects that were organized to have a signboard to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital at the city level. This project has been identified by the City as a key project to be invested in the period 2020 - 2025, with the goal of building a high-quality Pediatric Hospital with advanced and specialized technology.
