Implementation status of some projects in Hanoi

Reporting on the socio-economic situation in August and the first 8 months of 2024, the Hanoi Statistics Office said that the investment capital implemented from the State budget (NSNN) managed by the locality in August is estimated at 7,325 billion VND, up 12.6% compared to the previous month and up 48.6% over the same period in 2023, of which: State budget capital at the city level is 2,655 billion VND, up 11.4% and up 53.4%; State budget capital at the district level is 4,377 billion VND, up 14% and up 44%; State budget capital at the commune level is 293 billion VND, up 3.2% and up 84%.

In the first 8 months of 2024, the investment capital implemented from the State budget managed by localities was 38.1 trillion VND, an increase of 33.9% over the same period last year and reaching 46% of the 2024 plan, of which: State budget capital at the city level was 14.6 trillion VND, an increase of 24.2% and reaching 40.4%; State budget capital at the district level was 21.8 trillion VND, an increase of 39% and reaching 50.3%; State budget capital at the commune level was 1.7 trillion VND, an increase of 64.7% and reaching 50.5%.

Implementation status of some projects in Hanoi:

Ring Road 4 Project - Capital Region

Belonging to the group of important national projects, passing through 3 provinces and cities (Hanoi, Hung Yen and Bac Ninh), connecting Hanoi - Lao Cai and Noi Bai - Ha Long expressways with a length of 112.8 km with a total investment of phase 1 of about 85.8 trillion VND. Currently, the project is being actively implemented by localities to hand over the site to construct the entire project to ensure the set progress. To date, the project has disbursed 10.3% of the capital plan.

Ring Road 1 Project, Hoang Cau - Voi Phuc Section (Phase 1)

The project is 2.3 km long, 50 m wide and includes 2 overpasses at the Lang Ha - Nguyen Chi Thanh intersection. The starting point of the route intersects with Cat Linh - La Thanh - Yen Lang road at Hoang Cau (Dong Da district) and the end point is at Voi Phuc intersection (Ba Dinh district).

The investment level of phase 1 of the project is over 7.2 trillion VND from the city budget, of which construction cost is 627 billion VND, site clearance cost is 5.8 trillion VND. To date, the project has disbursed 36% of the capital plan.

Project to renovate and upgrade National Highway 6, Ba La - Xuan Mai section

Project to renovate 21.7 km, section from Ba La intersection in Ha Dong district to Xuan Mai town in Chuong My district. The project will be upgraded to 4 - 6 lanes, designed speed of 80 km/h, roadbed width expanded to 50m - 60m, contributing to completing the radial axis connecting National Highway 21A, Ho Chi Minh road and Ring Road 4 of the Capital region. Total investment capital is 8.1 trillion VND from the City budget, of which over 5.1 trillion VND is for site clearance; 2.9 trillion VND is for construction costs and equipment purchases. Up to now, the project has disbursed 8.2% of the capital plan.

Thang Long Highway Project, the section connecting National Highway 21 to Hanoi - Hoa Binh Expressway

With a length of 6.7 km, the starting point connects Thang Long Avenue with National Highway 21, Thach Hoa Commune, Thach That District, the end point connects with Hoa Lac - Hoa Binh Road; cross-section from 120m - 180m. The total investment of the whole project is 5.2 trillion VND. To date, the project has disbursed 8.1% of the capital plan.

Hanoi Children's Hospital Construction Project - Phase 1

With a total investment of nearly 785 billion VND, the project is built on a land area of ​​67.9 thousand m2 in Yen Nghia ward, Ha Dong district. The scale of the project includes a 6-storey building with 2 units with a design capacity of 200 inpatient beds. To date, the project has disbursed 61.9% of the capital plan. The project is expected to be completed and put into use by the end of 2024.

Hanoi Children's Palace Project

Hanoi Children's Palace is a key project of Hanoi city in the period of 2020 - 2025, started in March 2021 with a total investment of more than 1.3 trillion VND. The project is built in the CV1 Park and Lake Area in Cau Giay New Urban Area with a total area of ​​39.6 thousand m2, of which the construction area is 10.3 thousand m2. To date, the project has disbursed 80.9% of the capital plan. The project is expected to be completed and put into use to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024).
