Opening of Digital Transformation Week - Hue 2023

This event is part of a series of activities responding to the National Digital Data Year under the direction of the Prime Minister.

On the morning of December 14, the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province coordinated with the Vietnam Software and IT Services Association (VINASA) to organize the opening ceremony of Digital Transformation Week - Hue 2023 with the theme "Creating digital data - promoting regional connectivity".

Digital Transformation Week - Hue 2023 with more than 20 activities taking place in December 2023, is expected to attract more than 2,000 visitors representing central ministries, branches, state management agencies, associations, organizations, prestigious business groups across the country, media agencies... to attend.

More than 50 experts, leading speakers on digital transformation, leaders of agencies and businesses shared and discussed contents such as: Creating digital data - promoting regional connectivity, Promoting digital transformation of businesses, creating and exploiting digital data - creating breakthroughs in tourism and cultural development, managing and exploiting digital data in the healthcare sector.

Digital Transformation Week - Hue 2023 also organizes a technology exhibition with 30 booths displaying Hue's digital transformation utilities, digital transformation solutions from large technology enterprises such as Viettel, BKAV, FPT, Mobifone and innovative startup technology ideas and products.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Permanent Vice Chairman of Thua Thien Hue Provincial People's Committee, said that the Digital Transformation Week - Hue 2023 not only brings useful information, experience, and solutions on creating and exploiting digital data, but also hopes to promote connections and cooperation between localities in the region, promote cooperation between enterprises and localities in digital transformation, exploiting digital data to create breakthroughs in socio-economic development in Thua Thien Hue in particular and the entire Central economic region in general.

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa, Chairman of VINASA, the Central Economic Region has two cores that are always leading in the country's digital transformation work and are pioneering in creating local digital data, namely Thua Thien Hue and Da Nang. Therefore, responding to the National Digital Data Year of the Ministry of Information and Communications, the Digital Transformation Week - Hue 2023 takes the theme "Creating digital data - promoting regional connectivity", aiming to call for the cooperation of localities from the highest levels of leadership, to leaders of departments, branches, and businesses.
