The forum focuses on solutions in areas such as smart agriculture, reducing food loss and waste, zero-emission transport, renewable energy and water resource recovery, contributing to realizing the country's green growth goals.

As a result, six typical Vietnamese startups were selected to participate in the support program: AirX Carbon, Alternō, EBOOST, Stride, BUYO and Enfarm. Each enterprise represents an innovative approach in key areas, demonstrating the creativity and international integration spirit of the Vietnamese startup ecosystem.

AirX Carbon stands out with its initiative to produce environmentally friendly pallets from agricultural waste such as coconut shells and rice husks. This startup received a grant of 350,000 USD from the Program and technical support from Action on Poverty (Australia) to expand production scale and access global markets.

Alternō develops thermal storage sand battery technology, which is effective in drying agricultural products, helping to reduce costs and emissions. The company received a grant of 350,000 USD and cooperated with international organizations such as ASSIST (Philippines), JICA (Japan) and Temasek Foundation (Singapore) to widely deploy the solution in Vietnam.

In the field of green transportation, EBOOST builds a smart electric vehicle charging station system integrating modern management technology. With a grant of 350,000 USD from the Program and support from ASSIST and private partners, EBOOST is expanding the charging station system in urban areas and commercial centers.

Stride offers flexible rooftop solar solutions for households and small businesses. The startup is backed by $350,000 and partners with New Energy Nexus and ASSIST to develop technical standards and promote clean energy markets.

In addition, start-ups such as BUYO and Enfarm are also highly appreciated in the list of recipients of the Program's support. BUYO develops biodegradable materials from sugarcane bagasse and beer lees, replacing traditional plastics. Enfarm provides digital agricultural solutions, supporting farming households to optimize cultivation. These initiatives are not only highly applicable but also demonstrate a strong commitment to building a sustainable business model, ready for international cooperation.

According to the National Center for Supporting Innovative Startups, the supported businesses have in common the application of advanced technology, flexible models and the ability to expand to the global market. In particular, their solutions all come from the practical needs of the economy and society, closely linked to the orientation of green and sustainable development.

Joining the Partnership for Green Growth and the Global Goals network not only helps startups access financial resources, technology and strategic partners, but also requires businesses to meet high standards of transparency in governance, comply with environmental-social-governance (ESG) principles, and commit to implementing innovative models that have practical impact, are scalable and are in line with global sustainable development orientation. The support is an important stepping stone to help Vietnamese startups reach further on the global innovative startup map, making a practical contribution to the country's sustainable development goals.

The Partnership for Green Growth and the Global Goals 2030 is a public-private partnership initiative to promote sustainable development globally. In 2025, Vietnam is honored to host the P4G Summit, affirming the country's strong commitment to working with the international community to promote green transformation. The fourth P4G Summit will be held in Hanoi from April 16 to 17.

The Partnership for Green Growth and the Global Goals 2030 (P4G) was established in 2017 on the initiative of the Danish Government, formerly known as the Global Green Growth Forum (3GF). To date, the P4G has 12 member countries, including Denmark, Chile, Mexico, Vietnam, Korea, Ethiopia, Kenya, Colombia, the Netherlands, Bangladesh, Indonesia and South Africa, with the participation of more than 90 countries, international organizations and businesses.

Vietnam is one of the 7 founding members and an official partner of P4G.

P4G is considered the world's leading forum for promoting public-private partnerships, connecting governments, businesses and socio-political organizations to jointly develop breakthrough solutions for green growth, contributing to the implementation of the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). P4G's support to partner countries is mainly through public-private partnerships, providing financial and technical support for small and micro enterprises to implement activities to respond to climate change.

Within the framework of the P4G 2025 Summit, the Ministry of Science and Technology chaired the Policy Dialogue Forum: Encouraging investment, business, promoting innovative startups in the field of green transformation and sustainable development. The program is coordinated by the National Center for Supporting Innovative Startups, bringing together leading experts, policy makers, businesses and domestic and foreign investment funds to share experiences, propose solutions to promote a sustainable startup ecosystem and seek cooperation opportunities. The forum is scheduled to take place from 9-11:15 a.m. on April 16, 2025 in room 339, National Convention Center, Hanoi.
