Opening of the art exhibition “Da Nang 50 years – Aspiration to rise”

Poet Nguyen Nho Khiem, Chairman of the City Union of Literature and Arts Associations, delivered the opening speech.

Speaking at the opening of the exhibition, Poet Nguyen Nho Khiem, Chairman of the City Union of Literature and Arts Associations, shared: “Today’s exhibition not only displays works of art but also recreates the 50-year journey of Da Nang, from the painful past to the prosperous present. Each work reflects the historical imprint, the breath of the times and the beauty of people, nature, and culture, while inspiring the younger generation to continue and promote the fine traditions of their homeland.”

Delegates cut the ribbon to open the exhibition.

The exhibition displays more than 300 works in 3 fields: Fine Arts, Photography and Architecture, deeply reflecting the development of Da Nang over the past 50 years.

Accordingly, the fine arts sector introduces silk paintings, oil paintings, acrylic paintings and wood, bronze and aluminum sculptures with themes of sea, islands, urban life and indigenous culture; photography displays more than 160 documentary and artistic photos, recording the changes of urban areas, people and culture; architecture introduces models and drawings of typical works such as: APEC Sculpture Garden, Da Nang Administrative Center...

The organizers awarded certificates to authors whose works were displayed at the exhibition.

Exhibition "Da Nang 50 years - Aspiration to rise" takes place until May 2

The exhibition brings a vibrant artistic space, with a combination of historical imprints and contemporary creativity, helping viewers deeply feel the spirit of innovation and aspiration to rise of Da Nang.
