Hai Duong tourism industry exceeds growth scenario targets

According to the report on the implementation of the economic growth scenario (GRDP) of Hai Duong province in 2025 by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the total number of visitors and total tourism revenue in the first quarter of 2025 of Hai Duong exceeded the economic growth scenario target of Hai Duong province in 2025.

The total number of visitors to Hai Duong in the first quarter of 2025 reached over 1.7 million, an increase of 8.59% compared to the target. Of which, international visitors reached over 37,000, an increase of 5.19%; domestic visitors reached nearly 1.7 million, an increase of 9.78%; total tourism revenue in the first quarter reached 684.8 billion VND, an increase of 9.67% compared to the target.

In March alone, the total number of visitors is estimated at 417,415, an increase of 34% over the same period in 2024; revenue reached 177.5 billion VND, an increase of 34.9% over the same period in 2024.

The indicators of the number of visitors and tourism revenue increased due to many festivals taking place in early spring. This year, the festivals were organized on a large scale, with many new activities, attracting tourists.

In addition to promoting propaganda work and favorable weather, most festivals take place on weekends, attracting a large number of people and tourists.
