Project "Love Vietnam" implemented at 3 relics and tourist attractions in Quang Binh

Experience the NFC chip board at Quang Binh Quan (Dong Hoi, Quang Binh)

Within the framework of the “Love Vietnam” project, on March 25, Nhan Dan Newspaper coordinated with relevant agencies to install NFC chip panels (wireless connection technology) at famous historical, cultural and tourist sites in Quang Binh province.

In Quang Binh, the Project is implemented at 3 locations. The first location is at Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park (World Natural Heritage) in Phong Nha town, Bo Trach district. The second location is at Quang Binh Quan (national monument) in Dong Hai ward, Dong Hoi city. The third location is at Lieu Hanh Holy Mother Temple (provincial monument) in Quang Dong commune, Quang Trach district.

The chip-embedded boards are designed in two colors, yellow and red, and can operate automatically without a power source. Each chip-embedded board will provide stories, images, videos or 3D models of the relic site. At the same time, it provides features for searching, navigating, and finding information to explore tourist destinations at the current location and surrounding areas.

When arriving at the 3 locations of the Project in Quang Binh, visitors using their phones to interact with the NFC chip-mounted board will be provided with useful information about landmarks, monuments or destinations. According to a representative of Nhan Dan Newspaper, the project “Love Vietnam” aims to promote historical and cultural sites and destinations across the country; create unique discovery experiences for tourists, and support and promote local tourism.

For Quang Binh province, the use of NFC chip boards contributes to helping the locality implement its digital transformation strategy, combining information and official data to vividly and effectively promote important historical and cultural events and tourism products of the homeland.

The project is a practical activity towards the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and to promote historical and cultural sites across the country, contributing to the development of tourism in Vietnam.
