Dr. Nguyen Duc Toan - Deputy Director of the Academy of Journalism and Communication, head of the delegation expressed his deep gratitude for KOICA's active and effective support for the Academy in recent years. The program contributes to improving the capacity of Vietnamese officials, lecturers and journalists in policy communication, expanding the cooperation network with Korean partners and enhancing the position of the Academy. The program's design content has many attractive contents, with modern policy communication trends of Korea. Trainees can study and apply them in their professional work in Vietnam. Dr. Nguyen Duc Toan hopes that KOICA and the Academy will continue to develop a close cooperative relationship in the future.

The delegation of cadres attending the training course consisted of 20 members, including cadres and lecturers of the Academy of Journalism and Communication, along with representatives of the Central Propaganda Department, the Ministry of Information and Communications, and a number of local press agencies including the Quang Ninh Media Center, Hanoi Radio and Television Station, Economic and Urban Newspaper, Thanh Hoa Newspaper, Hoa Binh Newspaper, Bac Ninh Newspaper, Bac Giang Newspaper, and Today's Experiment Magazine.

These are activities in phase 2 (2022 - 2024) of the Project "Supporting the Academy of Journalism and Communication to improve the capacity to implement Government policies". Within the framework of phase 1 (2015 - 2018), the Academy sent 60 officials to Korea for training on policy communication; organized 4 international scientific conferences and published 3 specialized books.
