According to the survey results, Vietnamese passengers fear flight delays the most. Flight delays are ranked second in the list of things that passengers "frustrate" the most in the Asia-Pacific region. In addition, rude behavior from other passengers and loud passengers ranked second and third respectively as the things that annoy Vietnamese passengers the most.

Sharing the same view with Vietnamese passengers, passengers from Indonesia and Malaysia also considered flight delays as their top concern. Nearly 25% of Malaysian survey respondents shared the same opinion. Next was the impolite behavior of other passengers, especially noisy passengers, and rude behavior towards the crew...

For the billion-strong Indian market, delayed flights are also a major source of frustration, followed by noisy and rude travelers and the infamous armrest wars.

The survey covered 10 markets in Asia-Pacific: Vietnam, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, India, Japan, South Korea, Australia, Taiwan. People from South Korea, Thailand and Taiwan were most bothered by invasions of personal space, whether it was a fight over armrests or the creation of body noise or unpleasant foot odor.

However, topping the list of most annoying things are rude passengers on the same flight. Passengers from markets such as Japan, Korea, Australia... consider this the most "headache" problem.

The third annoying issue on flights is the presence of noisy passengers, such as seatmates who chat excessively loudly or groups making noise while playing music or video games in flight.

Rude behavior by fellow passengers on the same flight was the number one annoyance for Thai tourists, voted by nearly a quarter of survey respondents.

Passengers who are rude to crew or overly loud are the fourth most annoying thing for passengers in Asia, and the perennially controversial habit of reclining your seat without looking at the person sitting behind you is in fifth place.
